Nvidia Shield TV Pro Review: Is It Right For You? (2024)

I've had my Nvidia Shield tv since 2017. Still going strong but No native auto framerate switching with Netflix, Prime Video, Disney +, BBC Player, or Discovery +. I Have to use the Refresh Rate App for auto framerate switching but it doesn't always work.

I've had my Nvidia Shield tv since 2017 and it still runs like its brand new. Its obviously great for streaming but also great for gaming. I highly recommend it.

Still the best streaming device I can attest as I owned 2 devices. You can add 2 big drives with no issues not like others streaming devices. Anything you throw on the devices will run it. You can even do transfers file or movies directly from your PC to your shield devices wirlessly. Works well with Plex, Nova Video Player, Kodi etc. It also have Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision.

Man when are they going to release the Shield Pro 2023.
