Neverwinter Nights Review PS4

What can you say of this game performance on PS4? I bought it for the Nintendo Switch, thinking that because the game was old as f*ck, even the Switch woudl run it nicely.... nicely my a*s!!!! It run bad as sh*t! The framerate is horrible, it looks like it runs around 20fps most of the time.

That is literally not one enhanced means industry, standard wise in Hanst me and Steve upgraded graphics may be increased star performance on loading screens or any kind of annoying delay. It does not mean that they made the game better.

Dude, word of advice when you’re gonna make these videos man turn the fucking music and ambient sounds in the game down so we can hear you over there. It’s really loud hard to hear what you’re saying with the ambient sounds in and what not in the background, and by the way arena I get it I played Neverwinter nights a AOL long time ago, but why won’t you just play the free version of Neverwinter a cryptic one that’s free. It’s a three day mark play station, so why wouldn’t you play that?

This version is the same as the mobile version, its trash, they tore out half of the game made it more linear and charging more for it, no thank you ill continue playing on pc

It's now 2022, NWN released 20 years ago, with its ex-pacs coming a few years later. The fact that it RUNS on modern consoles is, in itself, an amazing oddity, imo. Of course, the game runs clunky; looks like a hot mess; and, performs like something from 20 years ago. /ymmv

Yet, as a document from the very earliest days of 3D gaming: we had a rotational camera and could move it around our characters unlike the isometric games of its time; we could zoom in and out, too: we didn't have to turn off the music to maintain FPS on our old toasters (computers of yore).

100+ combined hours of gameplay!

Judged by the standards of its time, NWN was a colossal achievement. Today, not so much by comparison with Triple A gaming. Back then, few companies ever levied budgets to create games of this nature, size and scope. -It was an anomaly then; and, remains a trophy from the earliest days of 3D gaming now, imo. /shrug

Honestly not much of a review my guy, just lamenting that it's not the PC version and barely addressed this version.

I love everything about this game apart from the actual game itself if that makes sense haha. Everything was cool but just drifted off and got bored fairly quickly pushed myself to chapter 2 but just moved on to divinity original sin. I actually liked the graphic style and d&d style combat but was to boring, I'm 40 yrs so I'm accustomed to everything but maybe started this a bit to late! Tried it on PC and android. Started divinity sin 2 on PS5 and that's got me hooked
