Ответитьthank you so much
ОтветитьEverything stated in the video is correct, but if your server is behind a firewall, another issue can occur when using SFTP. The encryption setting should be "Use explicit FTP over TLS if available" as "Implicit FTP" is being deprecated. The reason I was getting "Failed to Retrieve Directory Listing" was the port range allowed for data transfers in my Linksys router. My router lost its settings several months back and I made an error in re-entering the settings. Port 990 (or whatever port designated for SFTP) is merely a control port. The actual data transfer occurs over a randomly assigned port number within a certain port range, such as 60000-61000 (or whatever range is specified).
ОтветитьThank you, worked perfectly. No idea why some a**holes disliked it.
Ответитьport 22 is default for SFTP. FTP is port 21. So if you use port 22, the client takes it was SFTP.
Ответитьthanks this worked
