You just need to do coding to remove all or some of those restrictions so you can work on the infotainment

Just test drove one of these over the weekend. I plan to pick one up sometime next year. Just having a really hard time deciding on whether to trade in my Passat GT or add it as a 3rd car and possibly have to get a pre-owned later.

The auto hold actually works in my 2021 even though there isn't a light for auto hold. It's there just not "advertised" with a separate indicator.

How does this compare to your 2019 with tune? Speed wise

This thing with the aftermarket tunes would be a sick sleeper/daily. The new R's are making well over 400~450 crank HP now with just bolt on's and a tune.

Do you know you can down shift with the paddle shifters in the drive mode and sport mode.

Is there a spare tire ?; also is it larger than a Passat ?

I have a 2019 SEL PREMIUM R-Line 4Motion trim as well and love it. Considering replacing it with a new one next year. Nice to see video for the changes. The price tag is will be easily around $53000 for the top trim so it competes easily with A4, C-Class, and 3-Series. However, it is probably a better buy overall than those three sedans. It is definitely a competitor in this luxury entry class.

Why does this car get 300hp from the same engine while the GTI gets only 240?? VW makes no sense sometimes. I see no reason to buy a '22 GTI.

I just purchase a 2022 r10 and I'm very happy with the car it is actually pretty fast for the price and I love the way it looks.
