I just got a MSI Katana gf76 15.6 laptop , order the Novation FL 37 keys , next FL studio 21.2 ... thank you for this course, i have a good ear for music and I'm very determined to learn .

Does anyone know how to help? I tried usimg the essentail pianos in trial mode but It doesn't work without unlocking FL Studio. But I cannot unlock it without byuing it. Am I missing something or do I need to buy it to use the essential pianos...? Even tho they're under "free" category...?

I'm still baffled that people don't use the intrument rack feature, I feel like it's so ingrained in people's minds to just drop patterns in but I could never write in FL without it. The fact you can also right click and press C to automatically name and colour code your patterns... crazy I don't see more people doing it...

Great video. I am new to FL Studio so I am following what you are doing. I ran into a problem and I was hoping you can help or someone reading this can help me. I have a Novation Launchkey mini mk3 hooked up as my controller. In the video when you change ( click ) on the Close grand to the Bass Sustained I loose the ability to play the notes on my Controller keys. I hear the bass when I use the pads on the controller but not the keys 🎹. If I click back to the Close Grand I have the ability to play the keys on the controller again.
This is driving me crazy because I can’t figure out how to explain it in google to figure it out.
I hope this makes sense and that you can help me.

Shaper Box 3, fellas. Shaper Box 3. You will thank me for that third-party plugin tip. Let's make that one industry standard even so it costs for now a hundred bucks. Plugin use-case tips: If your tracks are relatively simple, it can even save you tracks, and also, it will save you a lot of slots per channel. It will also make your side chaining easier.

I was trying to follow along with the video, but in the beginning where he presses the plus sign underneath the sampler, he chooses "FLEX" and I don't have it. What do I use instead?
