This is the most based video on MM series I've ever seen

This game was/is always going to be one of my absolute favorites when the plot twists from being a pure Magical Realm to a post apocalyptic Magical Realm aka BLASTERS.

So for anyone playing mm8 merge in 2023 and hearing sseth mention he turns off weather effects but can't find the option in the game: "extra settings" in the menu is clickable and the weather effects toggle is there

I Remember buying Might and Magic 3 in 1991 for my Packard Bell 286. Unfortunately, the Packard Bell 286 only 640 k of RAM. I had to upgrade to a full megabyte of RAM for about $125. I did this just to play that damned game. That is how my addiction to the franchise began. I still regularly play HOMM 2 and 3. I bought the 6 pack on GOG a couple of years ago, but had no idea about the mod. Now I have something to do tonight. Thanks, bro!

My dad always used to play this game while I watched. He did set it up for me on a different pc, but I was far too stupid at the time, being around 5 years old. I still haven't played it, but it seems like an amazing game 👌🏼

Goes to show just how GOOD the golden Years of the 90s and 2000s were.
Me and my brother went to another guy from our school just to watch him play MM6. His Father introduced us to his games. I later got MM7 and MM8 from some older disabled geek that fixed our pc when it wouldn´t work back in the day until I learned to do it myself.
I found MM8 to be easier to get through but it took more puzzlesolving. Overall I like MM7 the most, which I finished 2 years ago for the first time.
I just recently realised that the aquaintances of my mother gave us all the old gems. Some chinese hot female friend of my mother gave us Darkstone (which you should review Seth), another baltic physio guy gave us Starcraft 1, some teacher gave us warcraft 3, the first game I think I bought myself was Diablo 2 + Lord of Destruction, which we were introduced to by some teenage guys when on holiday. We also played quiet a bit of Dungeon Keeper 2 at his PC.
I must have been between 9-14 years old at the time. Our first real MMO was Guild Wars, which made us discover the online worlds really for the first time.
Now at 32 with 2 Kids for the first time I´m really re-evaluating my life, which was much better than I had remembered.
It´s crazy how the years fly by in retrospective.
This re-review really rekindled some good old memories. I really was a indomitable kid, now turned somewhat into a chill/based Dad.

I had so many fond memories of HOMM\MM series along with many other games in 90s and 2000s. I feel like that was the best years of PC gaming. You seemed to play every game I played when I was younger and that is fucking awesome. One game that I was curious if you or anyone else viewing my comment played was rage of mages 2. If so, I would love to see an review :)

Finally completed this game after many years, starting, of course, when I was too young to remember. I’ve tried twice before—as an adult—only to lose my save files. Played the vanilla experience, it took 47hrs. My reward? A certificate saying I’d beaten the game and access to this video. It was 100% worth it. Thanks Seeth!

This was my childhood. I wanted Heroes of Might and Magic 3, but I got these games instead in a bundle. Almost didn't cry, but after playing them, and failing, growing older, trying them again, I can say with 100% certainty that this game is phenomenal.
