It's spectacular how your point about Activision-Blizzard games being dogshit and not worth playing or buying is still relevant to this day 2 years later. Literally everything they've released since you've made this video has been an absolute trainwreck designed to milk more money from you and nothing else: Diablo Immortal, CoD:MWII, Overwatch 1.1, and now Diablo 4.

Even if there were a comeback for modern gaming overall, there is no redemption or comeback in sight for Activision-Blizzard. It is, for all intents and purposes, dead.

I’m a big WoW fan (or at least I was prior to the bs turn they took with the storyline) mainly for nostalgic reasons, but I genuinely do have fun with the game. However, I will never excuse actions like this and did cancel my subscription until I see actual change happening with them. It’s the only Blizzard/Activision product I own but it does definitely sting because of how much I learned about RPG class-building games from it and the memories I have.

I've learned to separate art from artist, games like Diablo hold a special place in my heart, even if the company behind it sucks, I'm not defending anyone. More people should separate art from artist.

One more very important comment part of the problem and one that feeds the problem are the people/content creators that make money off of Blizzard games because all they do is promote Blizzard like free advertising and will seldom EVER say anything negative about the games because they don't want to stop making money off Blizzard games.

The reason Blizzard gets way with it is because people are spending loads of money on the cash shops look no further than Hearthstone at it's peak was making multi millions each month.ALL of Blizzard's games are low cost and low management except Wow which has a fair bit of overhead but don't let that fool you or be an excuse it is that way because they have so many paying customers.
IDK the answer the obvious is if everyone starts spamming the forums with get rid of the monetization or i'll leave.
I took a more passive approach which is not like me i simply do not give Blizzard anymore money i'll play the free side until it becomes unplayable or not fun.Even if you take the passive side like me and not give them a single dime they do monitor their profits often and will take notice.
I still remember when Hearthstone started to lose players and dropped out of the favor list on Twitch Blizzard sent out Q'A's asking about d owe care about this and that for obvious reasons they were looking to cut costs.

I was struggling to run a game i always have no issues with so i logout to figure it out.Well i had the Blizzard app open and it has popup ads and this lead me to think more about Blizzard as a while as a developer /business.
Blizzard is as scummy as those p2w cash shop games like the mobile games and those Raid Legends type games because they have monetization on ALL their games and for many it is p2w.
I still remember a lot of the arguments way way back when monetization was being pushed onto us by some early scummy game developers/publishers like remember Silkroad Online and other Asian studios as well i even remember when Smedley introduced it to Everquest.The constant argument was that it was "only cosmetic" i am sure most remember that phase.
I don't pretend to be a rocket scientist but i knew right then and there the future problems monetization would bring.
1 It forces you to buy in or be left out of certain content yes even cosmetic content.
2 I knew it would only get worse devs would not stop at cosmetic and yes it got a lot worse.
3 Studios would begin to design their games and future updates around the cash shop.
4 P2W and Blizzard is a culprit of this.
NONE and i mean not one single game needs to be monetized this is pure greed it comes from two places the top all they care about is their millions see Kotick and the bunch for more scummy news.The second place it comes from is the leads of each division they see bonuses for added revenue they bring it but guess what NONE pf that does a single thing to enhance our gaming experience.Guess what else a dumbass studio seems to not realize the CUSTOMER is number 1 NOT Kotick or Morhaime or any other lead dev at Blizzard.
