its nice, i just buyed a rtx4090 today, but i am more excitet for the 5090, the 4000 generation is still too slow for pathtracing.

New job with a fat paycheck. I'm upgrading to a 4090 (from 3080) just to play Phantom Liberty in Overdrive mode. So stoked!

How hot does it get in the room that you game in? With 500 watts of power from the GPU alone, you must have a really nice air conditioning system for that to be comfortable.

It’s weird I’m getting 20 fps lower with exact same system spec almost 49 in afterlife and 55-62 outside with dlss3 quality

we probably 2 generation away before running this 4k60+ without dlss,the 6090 maybe

Could you still get above 60 fps with a i9-12900k 4090 combo with FG, DLSS 3 and Pathtracying enabled?

Hey bang have you noticed any stutter with this game? I'm playing with my new 4090 and it stutters like it's shader cache sometimes, it's not the autosave I disabled it to make sure

iam on a 4090 and would like to try it out but its not possible. DLSS3 with VSYNC ON is simply too much input lag. Its not thought out

Funny I was actually doing my very first playthrough of this game and im around 50 hours in and this patch comes out. Tried the new ray tracing for an hour and crashed 5 times in 1 hour while not having any crashes on ray tracing psycho. Gotta say 4 of those 5 times were when hitting the fast travel point at V’s apartment. Went back to ray tracing psycho and no more crashes. Playing it on max settings with dlss quality and dlss3 with 4090 5800x3d on 4K. Maybe it’s karma for never getting a crash on the last of us 😅

This makes me want to swap my 3080Ti with a 4090... Doubt this will run very good on older cards due to the lack of Dlss 3 and Frame Generation.

I am really impressed with Path Tracing so far. Add film grain and the game gets super film noirish, like a Blade Runner experience. The AI upscaling has a lot of artifacts, but I will accept those as a trade off for the lighting.

Geforce now 4080 ulimate tier runs it well.. looks beautiful on my tab 8ultra 1200p ultra everything maxed out... or my little home setup 1440p try lock it to 60 as best I can.

I tried path tracing with my 3090 but i think 30xx series arent made for it simply. It wasnt pleasure to play like that, on the other hand having DLAA with rtx Global Illumination (Psycho) and texture + lod mods are making game equally impressive looking. I am happy with this patch and i cant wait for dlc to come.

I'm more impressed with dlaa then I am with path tracing tbh

round about 50% fps drops for patch RT? Is too much in my opinion... normal RT Psycho looks good enough.

Was pleased with the performance I was getting from my 4080 and 5900x. At 1440p with DLSS and frame gen and a few stratigic nips and tucks to certain settings it's easily sitting around 70fps in the desnse city scenes and up into the 80s-100s in less demanding areas. Definitely thinking of doing another playthrough with the path tracing turned on.

To me that looks weirdly bad, you would expect more from pathtracing, idk

This engine is suck for action. Mouse accelerations and choppy framerate. Noting smooth. And most important - UNREAL mobs teleporting and appear from NOTING.

Hmmm weird numbers, from what i've seen DLSSQ+FG @ 4k hovers around 60-70 during the day, then again your Time of day seemed overcast/ foggy which might have reduced shadows and increased performance. The numbers you have seem more inline with DLSSB+FG@4k. Nice video though, do you do comparisons of RT on/off?

It's super clean. But I find that if we don't compare we don't necessarily see a big difference with the "normal" RTX.

The Impact is 40%, quite a lot. Fluid cam pans under dlss3 arent possible any more, but still playable. In fact some places look really better, but otherwise a lot sinks in blackcrush.. 4090/13900ak

It look incredible, just tried in on my 4090, have like 5 FPS less than you, still incredible. Absolutely better than RT psycho, like a whole new level better. This is like a next ben experience

I have the same GPU but your clock speeds and power draw are significantly higher than mines. Did you OC your card? What are your offsets?

I have 4090, it's almost 2000$ that im purchase. Just wonder why i bought expensive GPU right now overdrive give my 4090 value to use.

your getting alot of tearing? gsync on? vsync? also you said gpu temps were alot higher? 65c is not bad at all

tried running overdrive on my new laptop rocking a 3070ti with medium to low settings....game immediately crashes lol. I'm guessing that's the Vram issue?

Currently playing on a 3090 at 3440x1440 DLSS Performance, 40 fps average

at 1080p DLSS Ultra Performance, I bet even a 3070 Ti can run this well above 30fps

Amazing, we reached a big step today in 3D graphics technology! Can you turn on DLAA with DLSS or is it either one or the other?

I play at 4k HDR on performance mode with frame generation on and DLSS sharpness to 1 and it looks absolutely awesome on a 65in Oled. Also I turn off Film grain, Chromatic Ab, Depth of field, no motion blur. I run on Ultra to psycho settings. System 4090 strix and 5950x.
