ОтветитьThanks for this recipe. It’s old, but I’ve made it so many times and it’s so delicious and comforting. I’d never heard of whisking cooked dal before, but it works really well. Just be patient and you’ll be rewarded with a smooth mixture that’s not completely broken down. It’s a great dish for when you don’t feel well and don’t have the energy to make a complicated meal, but you want something hot and comforting. It always makes me feel better, at least.

ОтветитьI swear to god I tried so many recipes of red lentil Dahl and they always lacked taste. I tried this without the chillis and curry leaves and It was amazing. Finally a recipe that tastes good and makes me use the lentils waiting in the cabinet!!

ОтветитьTried this phenomenal recipe and it was a huge gigantic success alhamdulillah. 😊 Both I and husband relished half a bowl in one go. He showered me with compliments. 💛 I added 2 cups extra water to reduce the thickness a bit and I also swapped bay leaves for curry leaves. It came out amazing. Thanks love!

ОтветитьFor the very first time I tried to cook Daal with your recipe & it was superb. Though I've modified a little bit by adding two pieces of mango pickles. Everyone praised me for the dish. It was my first attempt in my life to Cook anything although 😅.
