I can't condemn the dad for assuming that the son just knocked something over and just went back to bed. Because many of us probably has done that when living with other people.

I regret it one time because I had an older roommate who likes to slam the front the door sometimes when he was having a bad day. So one night I heard a loud bang but just shrugged it off as him having a bad day again. A couple hours later, I was getting ready to sleep but something told me to go downstairs just to make sure everything was ok. When I did, my heart sank in horror because there was a puddle of blood in the laundry room. I staggered around the house looking for him and he was in his master bedroom after binge drinking that night. I found out he tripped and his face landed on the edge of the washing machine fracturing his nose leaving him with swollen eyes. I had to take him to the emergency and he had 10 stitches on his wound and is now ok.

Lesson is always check up on your family and friends just to make sure they're ok instead of making assumptions. Also the dad is right about a real gun shot not sounding like one. Especially when we're used to watching action movies where the gunshots are so explosive. Sending my love, prayers, and condolences to the family. ❤

This is why it’s important to talk to your kids about what they’re doing on social media. Every so often I’ll randomly tell my kid to let me see his phone and I go through everything. Social media, pictures, text messages, etc. I ask him who he’s talking to when he’s gaming. I always remind him to not share any personal information with people he games with online. No pictures, no phone numbers, don’t tell people where you go to school, don’t share your social media handles. Kids can be gullible. As parents, we gotta keep reminding them and keep checking their devices to make sure they’re not being bullied, swindled, or groomed by people they engage with online.

Is so sad this young guy lost his life. Being at very young age is less capable to control feelings so a person at that age can commit suicide for many things. An adult person could manage this and not commit suicied. That is why young people need good psycologist to drive them while young becouse many young people feel ashmed about telling sexual things to parents.

This happen to my son unfortunately but my son thankfully came to me the moment it happen and was begging me to send money so this person wil not send the picture out. I called the number and sure enough a Nigerian guy and i yelled at him told him i was going to call cops etc. Long story short the guy didnt so anything my son was able to move on from it with time and he also learned his lesson with sending inappropriate pictures.
