I could place my cat on the keyboard of a computer with microsoft paint open and he could make a vastly better animation than this. I understand small children are entertained easily but i cannot imagine tolerating, let alone liking, this at any age.

The yelling is...unnecessary.

My god, I remember this thing. I LOVED this short when I was six. The disc came with a my little pony toy set and I would just watch it.

Is it wrong that I actually get alot of laughs out of this? He makes a good point, and his reactions are giving me some great humor.

I just read the credits of this thing, it used 4 voice actresses, but all the characters still sound the same.
How's that possible?

As a g3 fan I agree newborn cuties is a disaster when it comes to animation and voice acting is atrocious (music is ok though).

But As far as writing,I think it gets a pass when you stop to consider this was INTENDED FOR 3 YEAR OLDS.
I know that What makes great animation is when it can reach past its demographic,but a cartoon is always going to have its target demographic...and one written for toddler-preschool aged girls is likely not going to strike any appeal with an adult critic.
I mean I don't disagree with your points...but the way you vent your detestment to the point of almost screaming makes it sound like you have some highly personal vendetta with it.

The fact that this was made in 2009 a year before Friendship Is Magic is still no excuse to call this an animation. You can tell that this was rushed beyond belief like come on, Coraline aged better than this shit and that movie came out the same fucking year. Fucking GoAnimate and those stupid, cringy Gacha life animations looks fucking better than this.

There's a crisis at Hasbro, because the "My Little Pony" franchise might end up losing them money, and fading into girliness forever, unless an unlikely (or would anyone consider Lauren Faust the most likely candidate for the hero who would save the "My Little Pony" franchise?) hero, and her six new characters go save it. Now, they're on a perilous mission, and to succeed, they'll need to show everyone that friendship is magic! (I said it!)

At least Eddy was clearly portrayed as the bad guy. Whenever he deceives the other kids, he's humiliated for it in the end.

I just discovered there is a version of this episode where the lips move. I was generally surprised and I didn’t even know that existed. They must’ve sent this out by mistake. But who knows?
