My man iphones not breaking what a lie they did great taking away the glass back when they switched the back to glass its sucked glass screens on iphone so fragile and only 5'5 so my phone only falls from 4ft and it breaks ive replaced my iphone 11 screen 4 times already fragile front screen the proximity sensor change and charge port replacement after that im done with iphones so im done with iphone

You are confusing "familiar" with "reliable". I've been an iPhone and Android user for years and all my Android phones have been rock solid stable and reliable. Never had any issue, whether a EUR200 budget phone or a premium flagship phone. And when we're talking software, Android is light years ahead - most apps in the Play Store can run on Android 6 and up! Android 6 came out in 2015! A 2015 Android can still run the latest apps. You cannot say that about iPhone 6S. It will not be able to run the latest apps...

Apple sucks because Steve died and put a bean counter in charge. The products may be nice but they are just here to empty your pockets with higher prices for RAM, memory and accessories. No soul. No love. No passion. The user is not the centre anymore like they were before.

If you want to find that same "the possibilities are endless, available to all and fun" is now found in Linux, not macOS.

Where oh where have the good days gone. The early years of the iphone were magical, now there is no magic. With overheating, blurry photos, freezing screens and I could go on, The magical days are gone.

Apple music crashes on ipad and apple tv. Gestures instead of helping to move faster but a wrong movement and send you back all the way back. The back button on apple tv is a big guess.

It's now 2023 and I bought a Mac Studio with the M2 chip. £2000. 3 apps costing over £6000 won't work on it because of Sonoma. So I take it to the Apple shop and ask them to put on the previous OS. Can't be done, said Apple. There's something in the M2 chip that doesn't permit it. Angry doesn't cover it.

Funny it's two years later and John is still complaining about that camera glitch in this week's podcast November 2023 of genius bar. And he still having that glitch! Why do people pretend that iPhones are so great when they clearly have a ton of bugs and as a user of both platforms it's more than Android at this point.

WatchOS 10 is crap. Changes that make things more difficult. iOS 17 and Sonoma turning on iCloud keychain without my consent -- that is Microsoft-level scumbaggery.

I knew this was going to be stupid the minute he used an iPhone 4 PNG while saying "b-b-but my iPhone makes reliable calls, unlike android!" The iPhone famous for horrible reception back when it was still exclusive to AT&T, a network famous for terrible reception. What a farce.

The reason you're experiencing more UI bugs is because the iPhone is more complex now. Back when you had your glorified PDA that couldn't even copy/paste, back when you were gloating that it was more stable than Android, it was nothing but a home screen and apps. But user demand has necessitated that it evolved into something more. With all the extra features, more moving parts means more can go wrong.

The lesson here is that iOS was never "better" than Android, it just did way less. Now that it has a similar feature set to Android, it has the same bugs as Android. Who'd have thunk it?

Software fluidity is the only reason I'm more into apple products than android. Yes, android is more unbound to use but it also comes with more bugs and an overall unsmooth experience. If software fluidity is also absent on apple products, I don't think I'll use them anymore.

They need to update the Apple Music design on iPhone. I was considering switching from Spotify to Apple Music as the Apple One subscription looked enticing. But man, the design is fucking lame. Even going to the playlist is an annoying experience where there’s no grid view or no pinning playlists. And you have 3 tabs at the bottom being there to clutter everything up where Spotify has some of those functions within a single tab, making it easier to find things while having a clean interface. Such a shame.

Oh yeah, one more thing. We are now heading towards technologies that will bypass moral human intelligence, and we will become victims of our own genius.

I had to help my daughter at 4am to reinstall Mac os because installation stuck in 30% for 2 hours we were afraid to turn it off. She never told me exactly what drove her to reset the mac.
