I like the idea of a mario re-skin for FF1, seems like a novel idea.

Hm... What really jumped out at me was the climbing animations for the Yoshi Evolution hack, because they clearly seemed to be based on Bonk's movement from his NES game.

Sounds like you might want to see if you can get some sort of cart reader or something to get the hacks off of there that you can't find elsewhere.

Dude, hacks etc. There is a different SMB-hacks culture in ex-USSR segment. there were OTHER games, hacked to be sold as SMB4-5-6 up to 25 to my knowledge.

Most of the hacks you couldn't find are on Nes Ninja

5 screw Phillips were the first games people would rent and swap the insides of cart so three special screw became the standard.

So as of late 2022, these cartridges have gone extinct! I can't find this 45 in 1 game anywhere!! They're extinct!

It's an awesome bit of work, but sadly I agree that it's not a proper 64 game because of the REU requirement. "Eye of the Beholder" was recently converted and runs on stock - that is likewise a masterpiece. Next I'd like to see Secret Monkey island running from a cartridge on a stock 64

"The Forgotten Dream" is a really challenging SMB2 hack that changed up all the levels and you can play as Yoshi instead of Luigi. Pretty cool one I tried as a kid. This vids old but I thought I'd suggest it
