I have the fx3 and going to my first real estate shoot tomorrow and I need your help please
I want to shoot in bracket exposure with 5 shots but have no idea how to do it, as I only shoot video. Can you please tell me how to set it up what settings to use. Thank you!
I’m looking for a good camera for video that transitions between bright and dark areas of homes seamlessly. Is the fx3 the way to go? Thanks ahead!
ОтветитьHave you had problems with color temps using godox flash? my sony a7iii would give me horrible colors with the hot shoe godox flash trigger.
ОтветитьYou got some nice gear!
ОтветитьWhat about virtual tour equipment?
ОтветитьNo theta z1?
ОтветитьDo you use the raven eye?
ОтветитьGreat video! one question/clarification and also suggestions into a few video recommendations: Are you using the Ninja V or the V+?
Secondly, two video recommendations I have yet to see someone really dial in on is set up for the Sony A7 series for real estate specific with the Ninja V(+). And second video suggestion is a "Detail Shot List" video where you explain what detail shots you get, at roughly what focal lengths and and tips and tricks with would go along with shooting detail shots. Maybe focus tips or gimbal techniques. I am newer to trying to incorporate detail shots into my videos and I have had a hard time learning to maneuver the parallax effect on high ceiling chandeliers in tight entry way spaces for instance.
Great video! I appreciate all the valuable information you provided. Question for you... I have seen bad reviews for the Sony A7III that you recommend. The reviews said that its not a good camera if you plan on using it for more than 30 minutes as it will overheat and auto shut off. What are your thoughts on this? If I plan on using this for real estate photography then there will certainly be times where I will need the camera functioning beyond 30 minutes so I would appreciate your insight on this. Thank you in advance!
Ответитьof course another great video.... I just completed my full real estate kit.... Would love your thoughts.... I didnt have quite the budget you did... but it works for me... I have the benro and tripod, I use a canon RP for photos and R6 for video.... I shoot my photos with a 16mm prime and wide video with the 16mm and then I have 35mm and 50mm for detail shots. (I would use the r6 for photos as well but for some reason it doesnt stay connected to the canon connect app so I stick with the RP) I have the Mavic Air 2s for my drone. and the Scorp C by FeiyuTech for my gimbal.... All lenses are the canon FR mount ( but the affordable versions).. also I jsut recently added video to my services and have only done 3 but building the business everyday.... Thanks again for all these awesome and inspiring videos
ОтветитьHey again DoBo, had a question for you regarding gear.
You mentioned you have worked with the Panasonic S5, but wasn’t happy with its low light autofocus performance. Are you referring to video only, or in photos as well?
I picked up this camera earlier this year and I’m wanting to use it for photo+video in real estate, primarily photo to start.
Great vid! Do you find the coordinated turns implementation on the Mavic 3 to be annoying/prohibitive when trying to get certain shots?
ОтветитьI'd love to hear your thoughts about using an Avata vs. shooting everything on the Ronin now that you have such a versatile, stabilized, and efficient tool to work with. A video about those differences and overlap would be really great.
ОтветитьThanks Ken, great info once again. I just purchased the Sony a7IV and am looking forward to pairing it's footage with my Mavic 3.
Ответитьwhat's your thoughts about adding ATTI mode to a mavic 3?
Ответитьahh so its not a chinese go pro knock off and a few balanced bamboo poles............
ОтветитьI just bought a used A7III. It is my first full-frame camera.
ОтветитьSony low light performance is top notch!!! It's saved me countless times.
Ответитьcrazy cool video brother. Love listening and learning from you
ОтветитьIs the a6400? Still worth it for beginner+. Or save up more. 6500?
ОтветитьYea those CFas cards are crazy expensive! It was one of the reasons that I couldn't complain about the cost of the Mavic 3 Cine with its 1T of super fast internal storage.
ОтветитьThe A73 is a great camera. I use the A7riv for 360-photography. I love Sony cameras.
ОтветитьDoes this equipment work to take photos of chickens? Once again, thank you for an awesome yearly review. I have been tempted to go with Black Magic, yet I see more peers using Sony.
ОтветитьAnother informative and pro video!!!! I've learned so much from the way you show/explain you workflow...as well as being entertained. I would really dig seeing a BTS video of one of your real estate shoots. That would be the bees knees!
ОтветитьI turned my Sony A7SIII to my workhorse for real estate work. Great balance and get some of the FX3 features
ОтветитьReal estate gangg
ОтветитьHow you finding the Sony A7 iv?
Ответить+1 for that Benro tripod. Great vid Ken, tons of value here for people looking to get into this space, this is the stuff that works best.
ОтветитьSolid info! I appreciate the advice!
ОтветитьI just got a canon r for a great deal and an rs2 gimbal. Can’t wait to finally add videos to my line up
ОтветитьOnce again…another great vid. I use almost the same equipment in the yachting industry. Except I use the Weebill 2 gimbal. Smaller setup considering the smaller spaces I’m put in.
Anyways…The Sony 12-24 f4 for photos..I just picked up the Fotodiox Pro circular polarizer 145mm system. Check it out. All the wood floor or tile glare…gone! Worth every penny.
Hey Ken what trigger do you use with your ad200? Do you have white balance issues with yours? I’m using the flashpoint versions and have issues with white balance from the trigger but have heard it’s the same with the godox triggers as well.
ОтветитьThanks for the video. What/where is that pistol grip and cover for the AD200?
ОтветитьWill the A7 II. Work as well.? I’m just starting up and funds are a bit tight.
ОтветитьLove that tri-pod.
ОтветитьThank you for putting out this kind of video and explaining why you chose your gear. Helps all of us.
ОтветитьGood setup for sure!
ОтветитьGreat video, Ken, and excellent drone and camera selection.
ОтветитьHey Ken, Do you ever record with your atomos or are you using it just as a monitor ? been thinking about getting it for the ProRes Raw and cheaper storage pricing.
ОтветитьWelcome back 🧃
ОтветитьAwesome video Ken! Very well planned equipment selection 🙏
ОтветитьLove the set up!
Ответить😎🤝
ОтветитьGreat lineup of gear! I've got to get some gear lined up for when I retire. Thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьHell yeah i love my A7III, does everything i need it to for pro work
ОтветитьGreat video as always. Also, your gear setup is impressive. I'm a huge fan of Tamron lens as well. I feel like they are generally a great value.
