Attacking a Star Destroyer in VR - Star Wars: Squadrons Cinematic Gameplay

VR is a fluke/hoax , there is no real VR , it's just a helmet with the ability to "look around".
REAL VR can be seen in the movie Ready Player One... that's true VR ... virtual reality. Not putting on a helmet and still sitting in your chair.

My problem with squadrons, the low detail interior of the cockpit just completely ruins the immersion. You can't tell me they couldn't have implemented higher quality bump mapping and textures, quixel tech etc for higher end pcs. My problem with this video, why do you keep looking right to left even during and at the beginning of the hyper drive jump and at so many random incidences like a paranoid schizophrenic?

the white stars rushing towards the camera is very unrealistic . this wont happen in space

Can you do the original rebel Assault Game and remaster the attack on the star Destroyer scene please?

I love this content. This was genuinely fun to watch. You feel like a kid again finally getting to see what you imagined when you pretended to be a fighter pilot after watching the movies. Just as simple as watching someone play it in vr satisfied that “child in me’s” dream

This game needs to be made available on PS5 VR.

Very cool! However, gotta say that sacrificing warships to save a tiny handful of refugees and risking a capital ship and several other important ships to assist with that is an extremely bad idea. No military behaving that way has a chance in hell of winning a war.

w/ today's VR gear, did they ever fix the eye / motion sickness after you use it for too long, say a few hr.?

Only complaint is the particles that fly around you while going through space. Makes no sense.

This looks like alot of fun. why did this game get such a bad rap?

For anyone who has not tried this game in VR you are doing yourself a disservice. The premier SW fighter pilot experience hands down.

I know I want to be able to talk to R2D2 riding in back to repair the X WING while Im flying in VR.

This is how you fly X WING. Use VR. Thats your advantage over the Tie Fighters. Players wont know this unless they fly like this in VR they will know why they suck in X Wing or thats what everyone kept saying when I was playing online.

This game challenged my non-vr ass with mouse and keyboard controls. Shame the multiplayer died like it did. Not the games fault, still sucked. Had a blast putting a couple hundred hours into it.

Two women in the squadron? We might be in trouble.

Only thing I saw that I disliked was how quick the turning circle was for the X-wing, it turned on a dime, whereas in the films the turning circle is much longer and larger.

Imagine a clone wars installment for this, it would be legendary

I don't care WHO continues to put this out there - Professional or Amateur: SPACE is NOT an "AIR" environment. Why do you insist on portraying any type of spacecraft like it was an airplane flying around in a dogfight? We are NOT stupid! "The Expanse" gets it right for arguably the first time. Why not follow its lead and depict space battles in REALITY! My 2¢

it was so good VR graphics at that time... but they were unable to support VR controllers to play it... what a pity. Another case where of a big studio that has been unable to do something already done by no man's sky... what a pity.

my god VR really evolved over the course of the past years, really waiting for the moment when these haptic gloves are becoming affordable
