I’m Scottish and when I grew up at 3 o’clock every Sunday our local pipe band would take over the high street for an hour and play. People from all over would come and watch. Unfortunately they don’t do it now but it was amazing to watch.
As a soldier I once was present at a remembrance parade during the Bosnia conflict and to close a piper played the last post and while playing walked away from the parade. We could hear the post but it got quieter and quieter and more emotional as we all strained to hear every note. Lest we forget!❤️

Went to the 2023 tonight inEdinburgh snd it was awe inspiring.
Incredible music and choresogrephy in front of s beautiful castle snd lots of lights and fire effects done very tastefully but honestly you will get chills down your spine to hear all those pies snd drums at once. It truly is spectacular
