How to make a bookshelf
I've always admired the practicality and simplicity of the cinder block/wooden board bookshelf. This is just a classier take on that design. Here I'll show you how to paint cinder blocks, stain wooden boards, and assemble it all together using no hardware at all!

Most of my projects are about repurposing found materials into functional decorations using inexpensive tools. For this bookshelf you can buy all the materials brand new if you can't find them used.

Each one of my videos gives detailed instructions that are easy to follow even if you've never done anything like it. Actually, much of the time what you see me doing in the video is the first time I'm doing it! So if you're interested in DIY but haven't used any tools or made anything from scratch, go ahead jump into it! The best part about DIY is that you can make it into anything you want.
