I get it at 45%
ОтветитьIts not terribly hard to find in Jersey, but in my part of PA... it's still haard to find... but I don't think that will last... went to my local store last month... they had half a trucks worth of cases of it stacked up... I went back the next morning... they were all gone. So it still gets snapped up... but seems like they are producing much, much MUCH more lately... I expect itll be on the shelves here soon.
Agree with you... nice, drinkable.... I like wt101 better, to be honest.
For reference it’s around $27 msrp in America. It’s also 45% not 40% here. Not sure if he misspoke
Ответитьthe bottle i have here in the states is 45% abv. 90 proof do they proof it down to ship outside the states?
ОтветитьHere in the U.S. Buffalo Trace is 45% or 90 proof. as of Dec. 2023.
ОтветитьEagle Rare is the same mash bill as Buffalo trace.
ОтветитьEagle rare is same mash bill as buffalo trace and so is Stagg and eh Taylor and benchmark and old charter.
ОтветитьPersonally I️ love the buffalo trace bottle design, feels very 90s.
ОтветитьUsed to pick it up for 19.99 but now it’s 26.99 it’s still good at that price but if it goes higher than 30 I’m not interested anymore. I’d rather have wild Turkey 101 for still 19.99 in my area
ОтветитьI like it, but no more than any other shelf bourbon. To me, OF 100 is better at the same price.
ОтветитьMy go to here in Australia, love it. ER even better!!
ОтветитьBottle of buffalo Trace is 45% alc, 90% proof, in the states right now.. I have no idea if that has changed in the las 5 months or if the UK is just different..?
Ответить45% 90 Proof
ОтветитьThankfully my local store always has it in stock.
ОтветитьBuffalo Trace is 45% genius.
Ответитьmy absolute two favorite bourbons. Buffalo Trace and WT101.
ОтветитьThis can be bought ridiculously cheap in the UK. Often £19 on Amazon - my favourite “cheap” Bourbon
ОтветитьFor the money its bloody brilliant, is it the best fuck no, but you're be spending alot more to get better
ОтветитьWe get ours in the states bottled at 45% for about $26 (21.40 GBP). It’s a solid buy at that price.
ОтветитьBuffalo Trace is my go to whiskey. For the price and the fact you can get it in any supermarket along with it being pretty flipping tasty, you can’t complain.
ОтветитьMy go to neat Bourbon pours would be Wild Turkey 101, Buffalo Trace, Elijah Craig, Four Roses Small Batch, and 1792 Small Batch because they are very good values, especially when you can get them under 25 dollars. Bulleit is overpriced at closer to 40 dollars and Woodford Reserve is often closer to 50 dollars, so, I don't recommend those as regular sippers. Every bourbon has a distinct flavor profile, and as long as you don't find something in a bottle that offends you, you can probably find a way to use the contents in a way that maximizes your enjoyment of the bottle.
Ответить45% 1.75 liter bottle is readily available for $50. 750ml for $25. Grocery store whisky. I can't imagine it more watered down. It would be better at 50%. The fruit intesifies at higher proof.
ОтветитьHere in the States - 90 proof
Ответитьat 40% boring .the 45% better. But much better options out there in price range (NZ)
ОтветитьCan’t find this anywhere in Texas!
ОтветитьHere in Wichita Kansas it's kind of hard to find. I happen to see it in a small liquor store in a small town close to where i live so i decided to buy a bottle. Very pretty good bourbon and worth $30 a bottle in my opinion. I wouldn't go across town to look for it though, but i wouldn't do that for any bourbon anyway. Neat is the only way to drink it.
ОтветитьWell done. I have had numerous bottles of BT when it was bottled at more than 40%. It's enjoyable but nothing remarkable. Just because Buffalo Trace makes Pappy (which is vastly overhyped) doesn't mean that Buffalo Trace bourbon is anything more than one more STANDARD bourbon. People are so irrational sometimes, especially when it comes to bandwagon bourbon hype.
ОтветитьWoodford reserve is regularly on sale is about 25 quid. It's delicious. I'm not as fond of makers.i like makers as a sipper not a mixer.
ОтветитьJust saw this for the first time at my local abc store, it's coming in at 45% so I probably wouldn't have bought it at 40%, paid about 32.00 usd for it still pretty decent at that price point, not overly complex but enjoyable.
ОтветитьBrilliant review thanks
ОтветитьJust tried Buffalo Trace for the first time. I like it. Easy sipper and goes great with Wild Cherry Pepsi.
ОтветитьI live in Philadelphia and it's pretty easy to find for standard $25 ish.. at least at my local two places I've never had issues. they do have a two bottle at a time limit . It's a solid sipping pour but not worth all the hype to me
ОтветитьI find it everywhere $25 to $27 in IL
ОтветитьEvery Buffalo trace distillery product has become almost impossible to get near me, the one store that I know can consistently get BT gets it once a month and sells out in a day
ОтветитьNot a fan of BT. Would rather pay a little more for 1792, Makers 46, or Rare Breed
ОтветитьA fair review and comparison. I really like BT and have always found the Rye note to make itself known in just the right amount, which is a nice option from something really smooth like Makers. Every whiskey collection needs a "daily drinker" which is best categorized as an economically smart bottle, and BT fits that role. And I can CONFIRM that BT is hard to find in the US right now, along with several of their other labels.
ОтветитьI keep trying but not a fan of WT 101. Buffalo Trace however is a favorite and at $23 retail is a bargain. I've paid up to $32 for it when hard to find but I wont go much over that. On a side note, you're going to LOVE that Stagg. Found one at retail and opened it that night. Whoa. Careful though because it does not drink like a 130 proof bourbon.
ОтветитьVery hard to get in my area. Very good starter bourbon. Not very complex but has the classic bourbon flavors though they don’t last a long time. I like it and will keep a bottle on my shelf, as long as I can find it for the right price.
ОтветитьA fantastic and cheap bourbon 🥃
ОтветитьIn Louisiana, Buffalo Trace is very popular and runs about $24.00 per bottle.
