Followed uninstalling the Reaktek sound driver and I couldn't reinstall. Can no longer hear audio on my computer... Please Help

I think i just a found the easy solution to our problems with discord mixing the audio, first type realtek audio console in window bar, then go to device advance settings and then click separate all input jacks under the recording device section, now your mic wont pic up video, game or other ppl speaking and play it back to them

go into Realtek Audio Console > Recording Devices > enable the 3rd option that has AEC

NONE OF THESE HAVE HELPED ME AT ALL!!! I AM GOING TO GO FUCKING INSANE IF I HEAR MY MICROPHONE PICK UP DESKTOP AUDIO ONE MORE TIME

Sometimes there are two instances of a program or game running inside sound settings when you check, especially now on windows 11

in voice and video there is a setting for picking up audio from other application which is what stopped it for me

For those for whom none of this worked, what worked for me was uninstalling Realtek driver, but with DDU, it si a small program that wipes clean audio or video drivers.
I suggest that you learn of to use it before doing anything, but it saved my life, it made me crazy.
Then let Windows and Windows update reinstall it.

I have a windows 10 but I don’t have the related settings section when I go into sound settings so I can’t find the stereo mix and disable it, the only thing I seem to able to do on mine is go into all sound devices and click on stereo mix from there but it only gives me the option to allow apps and windows to use this device for audio

doesnt work at all. problem persisits. tried everything what i found on the internet. its a discord issues which the DEVS need to fix, because it only happens with discord and no other similar software.

i uninstalled drivers like you said and scanned and only one apeared instead of four and my mic isnt working at all right now

i don't understand a shit. you click on the "sound" and i see only one recording device but then you say let me show you this....what did you do? where did you open the same windows that showed all of them? how? no matter what I try, i still can't see Stereo Mix. I turned on "show disabled devices" and it's not there either. uninstalling drivers didn't help either.

My PC doesn't even have a Realtek device installed and I just started having this issue after last night's Windows update. I don't even have a "Stereo Mix" device listed under the Recording tab.

I have a normal Headphone plugged over this two connections (green & Pink or so). If i use discord/Teamspeak, they can hear themselves twice. Awkwardly, i have a mute button on my headphone. if i even mute it, they can still hear my ingame sounds... can you help me?`Even when i put the sounds of my headphones, they can hear the ingame sounds. So they get the sound from the system, not from my earphones.
