Buying Clothes

I watched this video in 7th grade and wondered how I could possibly regret it. I'm 17 now and 7th grade is my most regretted year of my life.

Im not going through a “i need to look cook phase” im going through “i need to not look like i live in a trash can” like my parents have money i just dont know what i like

Conveniently, I am in 7th or 8th grade, on winter break and regretting all my decisions, like getting into a 1-2 month relationship

I don’t really care about my appearance either, rn I’m wearing sweatpants and the shirt that was the least buried in my closet😂

My school has uniforms and a lot of my friends like it (because none of us really care how we look) but they also don't really inforce it great and have strict hair and accessory rules. This is frustrating because a) theyre already taking away clothing freedoms why is the hair such a big deal b) I'm always anxious that I'm going to break dresscode over some stupid necklace or the wrong color shoes or something and c) if your going to have rules, at least actually enforce them
Also my 6 year old sister got dress coded for having the wrong color socks just barely poke out of her shoes (and my family didn't even know this was a rule) while the 18 year old seniors who have been here all their lives walk around in bright pin, or orange crocs, which are none dress code.
But yea uniforms are fine with me just so long as they are at least informed. Otherwise just don't have uniforms

When I was young my mom would buy me the basic necessity (just normal outfits and stuff) in clothes and if I wanted anything else I needed to pay for it myself.
