What about act 1 where you sacrifice cards to the bone lord? You get a different response for sacrificing a pelt, a regular card, or a black goat. There's also the bone lord's skull, but it's eyes just glow if you click on it enough

I cannot explain why i like this character so fucking much, soemthig about the "aesthetic" ig and the way it's characterized
At least to me it doesn't FEEL like just another demon possessing the game for your usual evil demon shenaningans

i love a small detail in act 2 where, after the bone lord gives you his “meager offerings” (including one of his horns), you can actually see that the horn is missing from both portrait and overworld sprites. its not some “extra”, its the bone lord basically ripping his horn off to give to the player/luke, and that detail carries over when you see him again in act3 :)

maybe what he was saying is that the Karnafel code requires souls to be powered, like how in fnaf kids posses animatronics except all thats left is personality, p03 does not have a soul, because in act 1 he wants to be empowered, or as leshy refers to it " the sould of _ now lives in the stoat", so maybe when kaycee burned she fused with melter, which would explain its "other half"
