Bruh.... Why am I slowly getting a crush on Donald?
ОтветитьAll that dancing, who knew Donald would have heart issues. So sorry for what Debbie went through with her daughter but glad they are together. So lovely in brown hair. Nowadays if youth have a waist that small, doctors threaten to hospitalize them.
ОтветитьThey were the perfect match together. I love them both. Such great dancers. Unforgettable. ❤️❤️❤️
ОтветитьHow can there be 139 people who dislike this great dance sequence? Beyond me
ОтветитьDonald O'Connor was an amazing dancer.
ОтветитьBrings me back and reminds me of singing in the rain
ОтветитьI just love these musicals. Would rather watch these than what they have out there now.
ОтветитьIt seems like I heard that Debbie Reynolds and Donald O'Connor were basically self taught dancers.
ОтветитьThanks for posting. I had not seen this before. Very nice number. Too many don't realize how great Donald O'Connor was.
ОтветитьDEBBIE REYNOLDS HAUCHTE DIESEN FILM RICHTIG LEBEN EIN
ОтветитьANOTHER GREAT ACTER 🌟 DEBBIE RENAULT
DONALD O CONNER BRING BACK ALL THESE FILMS❤ON TV
Really marvellous dancer, donald o connor!
ОтветитьThose two are the best.
Just a baby and small child I'm the 50's but I do enjoy the old movies.
Donald o connor is for me a great dancer..
ОтветитьYounger generations seem to forget history through media like this and many would insist that "white people can't dance". Shame really.
ОтветитьI love Donald O’Conner 😍😭❤️
ОтветитьDebbie was so gorgeous.
ОтветитьTheir career is watching tv LOL
ОтветитьDonald O'Connor made sure Gene Kelly, who was a tyrant on set, took most of his anger and outbursts when filming out on him rather than Debbie Reynolds. Wasn't till the 70's, I think, that Reynolds found out. O'Connor was 26-27, while Reynolds was only 19 when filming.
ОтветитьI kept trying to see her shoes. She looks barefoot, but her feet tapped, lol.
ОтветитьIf she said Randall Flag I would laugh since it is like the character from The Stand.
Ответить"You better take care or the carpet will burn!" 😂
ОтветитьDonald O'Connor and Debbie Reynolds - both great artists. I get in good mood by seeing them
Ответить❣️
ОтветитьJeeeesh.. Debbie was one of the most beautiful, talented ladies in all of the 20th Century..
ОтветитьI want her dress, its so pretty!!
ОтветитьReminds me of Danny Kaye a bit.
ОтветитьI'm so glad that Donald O'Connor is finally getting some appreciation!
ОтветитьWhat year was this musical made?
ОтветитьThis movie is seriously underrated. Just about every number is sublime and Donald & Debbie have such jubilant chemistry here. They should have become a team.
ОтветитьThese two cute together
ОтветитьAdded Gene Kelly, it gonna be singin' in the rain
ОтветитьI remember first watching this on tv one afternoon while convalescing from a serious op. I was in my teens and feeling low. This movie cheered me up no end. Thanks Donald O'Connor and Debbie Reynolds wherever you are.
ОтветитьKeep in mind: Debbie Reynolds' first big role was in "Singing In The Rain", only 1 (maybe 2) years before this movie - and she had NO dance experience. So what she did here was amazing.
ОтветитьDonald O'Connor was every inch as good a singer/dancer/actor as Gene Kelly or Fred Astaire but for some reason, Hollywood movie companies liked to bill him less than them. It wasn't fair but it was the system in Hollywood at the time that some would be promoted over others who were equally as good.
ОтветитьAgreed
ОтветитьPor favor que cinturita una muñequita!!Bellisimas esas mujeres de esa epoca y que talento.Un disfrute genial
ОтветитьWhat movie?
ОтветитьAmazing! Debbie Reynold's shoes are incredible since she looks barefooted
ОтветитьA Common Man dancer and NOTHING Common about him.
Ответить👏браво
ОтветитьThat's our lovely Debbie Reynolds in a sequence from 'I Love Melvin' with Donald O'Connor. I'ts hard to believe that Debbie wasn't a professional dancer because all her foot-work in film musicals seem seamless. She was also such a lovely wholesome beauty of the great American kind with her auburn hair and green eyes. Yes, to this very day, Debbie remains a perennial family fave.
ОтветитьI can't get over how expressive Debbie Reynolds face is.
ОтветитьShe was stunningly cute
ОтветитьGenious..
ОтветитьDebbie Reynolds' training was in gymnastics. She learned how to dance for "Singin' in the Rain." Gene Kelly was actually kind of bugged with her because he had to spend so much time teaching her the steps. He later admitted that he felt bad for being so mean to her during the filming of "Singin' in the Rain." She ended up being an amazingly fast learner.
ОтветитьWhenever I see old clips like this of Donald O'Connor I immediately think of Sean Hayes.
ОтветитьThere is an ease and natural feel to this dance. They look like they are having fun. Even though her dances with Gene Kelly and others are perfect, they lack that ease.
