How do you make your mojito? Everyone seems to have their own recipe. Cheers everyone! 😊
BTW it’s aguardiente with a T, not a D - sorry for the typo!
Very good job ...I'm cuban, i was a bartender in cuba , in AMBOS MUNDOS hotel ... is where Hemingway used to stay in havana,in that hotel he's room is museum now ...
ОтветитьReal talk, put the mint in the shaker and blind test the drinks. You wont be able to tell a difference.
ОтветитьThese type of mojitos are Americanized cocktails not as original as made in cuba! Real mojitos does not have club soda.. however there different types of mojitos recipes. original has only Mint, half Lime juice with half water , sugar and rum to taste "2oz". thats original... but, good recipes on this video! Passion fruit Mojito very GOOD!!!
ОтветитьThe "Anders Mojito" is popular around here, but requires crowd control (keep them busy cutting lime quarters).
ОтветитьJust made a “fast” mojito with our fresh mint and it’s amazing. Cheers Anders!
Ответитьi am really tired of your editorializing snark for historical figures you dont like--first its Hemingway, now its Frances Drake. NO ONE CARES that you think he wasnt a "nice guy". Your juvenile judgmental snark ruins your videos and I have unsubscribed.
ОтветитьSlow way all day.
ОтветитьMan I could swear the first one I ever had was in 2002 at Racine's (RIP) in Denver, and it included light rum, dark rum, spiced rum and coconut rum with sprite (or coke) and mint. And it was so delicious I was addicted! But I never had another one like that unless I made it myself. Literally no one I ever bought drinks from ever heard of it being made that way. 💗💗
ОтветитьLove
ОтветитьXalov
ОтветитьI use regular 7 Up instead of sugar and soda water and people love it
ОтветитьSorry, but use a wider glass, these small glasses should be banned and never ever used to make a mojito
Ответитьare you using 2 measures of demerara sugar to 1 water because this sugar is double less sweet than reg sugar?
Ответитьuse piloncillo instead
ОтветитьIt's 5'O Clock over there ...
ОтветитьLoved this video. Especially your female friend saying, quite frankly, ' this one's better'. Visually, a beautiful video. good lighting and everything looks fresh, clear, clean and inviting. Very inviting! Thanks Anders. You're a top character.
ОтветитьThanks for that. NOW I am craving a mojito 😢
ОтветитьYou want to kick it up a notch use a good dark honey instead of sugar
ОтветитьThe Slow way is lot fatter, more round., Thanks, Anders this was a great B-day drink.
ОтветитьI have tried my own versions..Sometimes cheap And other times costly And time-consuming Example Try getting Key limes Or Philippine lime which changes the taste ..hard to come by in my country (Fresh) Other brands of rum also effect the out come .....2 things make a good mojito ALOT of mint And ...less ice ICE takes away flavor on the tongue The colder it is the less flavors Aswell as fills up the glass with water.....1 maybe 2 cubes ....3 if it is outside And super hot out
ОтветитьI have to say, not calling the second one a “Slow Mo” feels like a missed opportunity. Fantastic video though, as always!
Ответитьboth are good but they are on your style but nothing better than the original with the real Cuban rum blessings
ОтветитьI absolutely love how it dives into the origins and cultural significance of this iconic drink, adding an extra layer of appreciation when sipping on a perfectly crafted Mojito.
ОтветитьP.F Changs makes a coconut mojito. Not the least bit embarrassed😂 that I lost count of how many I've had.
ОтветитьI drink my mojitos way too fast for it to change overtime, but that a cute idea.... 🤣
ОтветитьThat’s too much mint bro.!!! 😅😂
ОтветитьBro none of them is a mojito😂😂
ОтветитьI have always wanted to learn how to make a good mojito and have never been successful with previous recipes that I've tried. I watched your video and followed the directions for the "slow version" and am super happy with how it turned out! It's not the best mojito I've ever had but it's the best one I've ever made. It seems to be a drink that that requires some practice and so I anticipate that I will improve over time. Thanks so much for making this drink attainable for a non-bartender to make at home!
ОтветитьLove the comparison. Thanks for the breakdown. Def. going with the slow version.
ОтветитьDemerara Sugar 😊 🇬🇾
ОтветитьYou hat looks silly
ОтветитьNice. Great video. I’m going to definitely be trying this recipe. I just watched a video of a bartender in Cuba making one. I’ll be trying it too. He used sugar instead of syrup and used 50/50 water lemon juice then topped with ice and finished with rum. Zero carbonation. Curious how that’s going to be.
ОтветитьBro I never see mojito without ice crush😂😂😂
ОтветитьSlow method looks nice. I might do half and half of sugar and syrup.
ОтветитьGreat recipe! What brand is the soda water container you have?
ОтветитьEveryone makes them so different it’s insane how different they can taste. Every time I go out and order it they all have tasted like water I gotta master it myself lol.
Ответитьthanks😃
Ответитьi love the static clock stuck at 5pm....always happy hour at Anders crib!I i like the slower version, that's how bartender in Cuba do it, stirring sugar with the raw mint, there is a bit of drama in this method, but they figured something out that makes it better doing it this way.
ОтветитьI can only imagine Sir Francis Drake n the crew pillaging n stealing things just to stop n grab this drink someone left n go ... "Damn that's good"
continues to pillage
😂
I was always taught to have 16 or so mint leaves and 4 lime wedges muddled in 25ml of sugar syrup in the glass, full with crushed ice in the mojito glass. Add 50ml of white rum and top with soda, then mix it evenly across the glass and add a mint sprig that you used for the mint leaves down the middle of it with two straws down the side. The sprig is nice because you get that mint smell every time you take a sip. I've never seen a shaken mojito before
ОтветитьIn Greece we make it the slow way. I used to work in a bar in a greek island and sometimes i had to make 20 mojitos for some groups of Italians. They loved to see them on the bar and take photos with all of them together in front of me! The difference is that i put the lime and the sugar first for a good squeeze and then the mint. All my best,i love your videos.
ОтветитьNew to the channel!
I'm loving this already!
I did a whole lime the first time😶 I do not recommend this
ОтветитьThe 5 second skippable ad being mint mobile was definitely good flavor
ОтветитьMy friend got me a job as a mixologist at a time i was really desperate for a job. Bro, its been smooth sailing since i found ur channel. Asante Sana.
ОтветитьI’d like to see a blind taste test on slapping the mint. Seems completely retarded 😂
ОтветитьMay I know which variety of mint is best for making mojito?
Ответить
