Silvia S15 with RB26 Skyline or 2JZ engine? What do you think of it?

rb26. 2jz's are getting too common imho. At least where I live, I've seen 20+ 2jz swaps, but only one RB26 (:

I love 2JZs as much as the bloke next to be but in this case i have to go RB26.

I've seen the car, its complete subtle perfection. As far as rb or 2j, I'd say VQ series. It's a better motor. Go head, dispute that amongst yourselves. Lol

Why is it when i come to watch a video about an import there is always a comment saying it would be better with a V8 swap, when are these people going to realize that V8's don't belong in imports.

2jz all the way. I love my 350z and have respect for nothing but nissan. But if I could swap a 2jz engine or a rb26. 2jz takes it home.

wider usable torque sure, but then they realize balance and WD gets thrown way off !

I suppose 2jz, larger displacement, cheaper aftermarket parts more readily available and abit more reliable.

Look the turbo position: 2JZ turbo is a left side RB turbo is a right side ;) Thats 2JZ

And the RB26 has the letters.

Why not TT LSX? I don't know, RB so you're less likely to cook your brake/clutch fluids..

It's a 2jz just look at the square bulk shape and look at where the turbo is position at and also look at its 3.0L size...

Its a 2jz 1 small turbo and 1 big turbo im 14 and i can tell a rb26 has 2 turbos the same size

That's 2jz. As you can see, the intake engine is positioned at the left side and the exhaust is in right side. It's opposite to rb26.
