Thanks for the video I think I’ll use Panasonic and Fujitsu batteries from now on. I don’t want this to happen to my original Gameboy
ОтветитьThat used to be energizer did that for the longest time in the early 2000s I don’t get it we called a Duracell‘s leak O-Matic nowadays because they are I’ve had them do that new in the packet new in the packet already picked up their guts I’m starting to go back to using rechargeable AAs from Anna loop. What is now, Panasonic good old days of the rechargeable batteries wish they were still make hats but I guess I’ll take the nickel metal hydride.
Ответитьit smells like rotten cheese stinky that is disguising smell.🤢🤢🤮🤮
ОтветитьThose batteries are from 2007. The date shown on the batteries is when they'll expire (2017). They are not manufacturing dates. Duraleak batteries, including the Duraleak oPtImUm / qUaNtUm, all of them, SUCK!!! I have a feeling Kirkland batteries are manufactured by duracell, they explode the same way at the same times.
ОтветитьI have had several devices ruined due to these crappy batteries. I contacted them and they totally blew me off. Never again will I buy Duracell. Never.
ОтветитьI used to like duracell years ago but not anymore since it ruined my onn cd player i used to have
ОтветитьRecently, brand new Duracell batteries totally corroded inside my 1 year old mouse. It corroded so much that the mouse stopped functioning completely even after cleaning and with new batteries. I understand your frustration. Absolutely outrageous!
ОтветитьThis is exactly why I only use lithium now
ОтветитьStills real today unfortunately never had any problems with Energizer or even cheap Panasonic batteries from the dollars store or even the Kirkland signature batteries made by Duracell... Duracell branded batteries should be 🚫
ОтветитьTHIS IS DURALEAK
ОтветитьI have a RC car that my grandaunt from the US brought me for Chrismas years ago. Because the controller uses a 9V battery which wasn't included and i don't have that so i can't play with it. I think it was a gift from Costco or something cuz i it was included with some Kirkland gummy bears. My grandaunt put 4 duracells inside a yellowed Ziploc bag. I just found them a few days ago and the batteries are leaking a little bit.
ОтветитьI feel your frustration. I used to use Duracell batteries. I had a device that sat in storage for about 5 years. I took it out of storage and the battery contacts were rusted beyond repair. I had to throw the device away that I had since brand new. Since that day, I switched to energizer and never had a problem since.
ОтветитьThe same thing happened with Enegisers
ОтветитьThey actually aren’t made in USA
ОтветитьI have Duracells from 1977 that still work
ОтветитьTHOSE ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORST BATTERIES EVER TO EXIST
THEY ARE SO OUTRAGEOUS AND DEPLORABLE
I've been buying those from Costco. I just had a bunch of brand new ones leak all over the caddy I had them in. We're talking indoor southern California conditions too. I'm going to return whatever I have left.
Ответитьcome to mexico the duracells over here have not leaked ever lol
and guess what the only alkaline i know has leaked in my house was an energizer
Junky battery Duracell is a clod!
ОтветитьAre you gonna do the clear corrosion is to just get some stuff like vinegar you gotta get vinegar and use that vinegar to clear it up I don’t remember what else you use but trust me that’s what you use to clear corrosion A.k.a. battery acid
ОтветитьLoll after 20 years I found all my toys blown up with this sludge.... I use energizer, never happened, even small batteries from one toy I bought. Duracell is absolutely trash
ОтветитьDuracell are so bad they should be banned internationally!!! Toshiba, Varta batteries, NEVER leak!
ОтветитьI use Energizer Max batteries. They have no leaks!
ОтветитьI sent Duracell a complaint and they sent me back how to fix my issues.
One was for the Device was overexerted which it’s a controller for the TV I never pushed I truly believe that if you use a device and drain the battery down as quick as you can there is less damage so over exertion is probably the best solution.
I’m not sure where they make the bottom negative side metal from but I can guarantee that the copper stainless steel and nickel but they’re putting in it is having a chemical reaction with whatever device you’re putting into the spring side of a device. That metal is made from a springy material that is not compressible unless you exert a ton of force so that metal is different from the negative side of the battery and it’s causing electrons to leave one in eroding the metal on the battery itself they need to correct that as soon as they can. I cannot use Duracell and any high-quality equipment I got because I can’t spend the time cleaning the corrosion off of my springs that accept the battery.
2017 is the end of shelf life date.
I have batteries with a 2027 date same problem.
Destroyed a $60 premium Logitech premium quality wireless mouse.
Well. Are junk
ОтветитьBattery are junk
ОтветитьI had this happen with my Wii remote. The message popped up on the TV saying the battery had just gone. I opened the back cover and it was spirting battery acid as I watched. I had to stop my Nephew from curiously touching it. Never used them again. They used to be a trusted brand for a reason and before this happened I used them without fail. Not anymore.
ОтветитьThere's the capacitor plague, and the Duracell plague.
ОтветитьYour old damn telephone is just junk you poor fool
ОтветитьSo much for Duracell being the best an all. I'll buy Energizer from now on. I've had Duracells destroy Tomy Plarail trains too.
ОтветитьA close friend of mine worked in r&d for duracell for a few years. I have never heard somone talk so much shit, swearing that they are the WORST BATTERY EVER MADE.
ОтветитьDurcell should change their name to Duraleak or Durashit. They'll leak in the original package with a expire date 8 years into the future. If you contact Duracell they'll try to tell you that you're using the battery wrong. I'll never use Duracell again. I don't care about a battery's capacity as much as I care about the battery not damaging my equipment.
ОтветитьUse energizer battery’s AA Battery’s.
ОтветитьIn the last two years, I have had duracells do the same thing. Never happened before. No more for me.
ОтветитьYeah This Is why Duracell battery’s sometimes don’t work on my moms tv remote she uses energizer batteries are the best lol
ОтветитьYeah This Is why Duracell battery’s sometimes don’t work on my moms tv remote she uses energizer batteries are the best
ОтветитьCan’t disagree, been using energiser since and I have never had one leak
ОтветитьI'll never buy Duracell again in my life. Went to BJ's about 2 months ago, brought 36 pack ended up throwing them away because they were all corroded
ОтветитьWhen I was a child, Duracell used to guaranteed not to leak. Now they pretty much guaranteed to leak.
For the past few years, I used to replace them every 2 years in our devices, but these days even that isn't enough. They even leak in their packaging.
I have no longer faith in Duracell.
I deal in cameras, have for years and I advice everyone I meet, never use Duracell batteries... the number of cameras iv come across that have been in good condition but rendered dead as the contacts have been damaged.... the worst case was a nikon f301 where the base is a removable cover plate, the batteries had expended where that base was bent like a rocking chair...... I hate duracell and its company for the damage iv seen.....
ОтветитьI found a lot Duracell batteries leaking inside their original package
ОтветитьDuracells always explode inside of my electronics
ОтветитьSame..
ОтветитьThe same thing happened to a light up Christmas decoration we used to have, this is why I hate Duracell, they are a perfect example of stuff made in China..
ОтветитьThose batteries are junk I hate DURACELL
ОтветитьWhat’s sad about this is that I put some batteries in my Nikon camera and there were crystals growing on them and it ruined my 500 dollar camera 😞😒😭
ОтветитьI have stopped using Duracell batteries because they leak too damn much.
I now use Energizer Ultimate lithium batteries, and so far I have NOT
had any leaking issues.
