Toyota / Lexus Remote & Immobilizer Key Programming

I tried to program the remote. It does all of the steps when done including the last step when I hit the lock button on the key remote, but after that it doesn’t respond to the remote

The busted master key did the car turn on with it still before you programmed the new key?

I have 1992 SE 400 and I’m pretty sure they used ignition and doorhandle lock from parts car car used to start and run fine but VATS went off and now I can’t get my Lexus to crank over even after It stops beeping.

I have a 2003 Lexus LS 430 with a master key. I bought one new key with buttons on Ebay. I have been trying to program the transponder to make the car start unsuccessful, despite I have followed your instructions to do so within 35 seconds. I had repeat those steps many times already. The security light not staying solid before I insert new key after 5gas,6brake,1 gas but it keeps flashing forever, it seems never go out. I don't know why I am unable to program transponder key to make it work but I was able to program the buttons to lock, unlock doors. Do I need to buy a OBD cable with techstream software connect to a laptop to program my new key.?. Thanks

Probably should mention that this works on 2008 and older Toyota/Lexus vehicles. I tried this on a 2013 Highlander and it wouldn’t work. Have to either take the car to the dealership or get a key programming tool for anything newer.

Question: When you follow these reprogramming steps, will the old key(s) still work? Or do these steps somehow change the car’s programming so the old key(s) are inoperable?

This worked like a charm on my ‘99 Land Cruiser, even though it doesn’t have the security light. Followed all the instructions and just made sure to leave the key in for 60 seconds. Now if I could just get the key fob to work outside of the truck.

Same steps for lexus ls 430? And can you change the key? These ones are old. Can you do this programming on the new types of keys in which key pops out when you press the button

Going to do this soon, but my lock acuators get weak around 2-3 tries so I’ll fix that before I program a new key. Im tired of locking my passenger door by hand lmao

I have a 2000 model lexus es300. Is there any tricks or hacks because i removed some fuses to check if they were blown and the battery kept draining dead in like 2 mins after the car was off and now it won't do shit when i try to crank it. It does nothing. ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED

I did exactly what you said and completed the cycle and with the confirmation that the remote has been programmed and everything but my remote still doesn’t work. Any other suggestions you can give me? Appreciate it!!!

For unknown reasons (batteries in each remote entry key measure 3.05V), the programming steps succeed for both keys, but then after a few cycles of lock/unlock with the remote the next lock action disables both keys, and the driver's door has to be opened manually with the key--WHICH SETS OFF THE SECURITY ALARM until the key is inserted and turned to ON. Neither key will lock or unlock the doors.

Have any idea why the keys "forget" the programming (or the ECU does)?

I started with a virginized IC900 (as per your immobilizer hack video) and it was able to program the first key, but using this pedal dance here was unsuccessful. Any help would be appreciated. Btw, it's an 03 RX 300

On my GS2 the programming didn‘t work although the programming was confirmed by the computer with cycling the lock once. By „accident“ i used the key on the drivers door to cycle all windows down and up. After this procedure the remote was recognized by the computer and everything works fine now… Strange, but maybe a solution for some!

I have a key that starts the car and works on all locks (doors, glovebox, trunk) but cannot get the remote to work no matter what I do. 2001 es300. I can get it into programming mode but it won't complete the process. Im thinking the max amount of keys might be at capacity ? Doing the on off with the key 2 times instead of one is supposed to program a new and erase all old but that won't work for me either. HELPPPP!!!

Anyone have key code 12BBY-08? I bought the flip key on ebay and realized its a different key code like HYQ1512V - 4C or something and doesn't work with my GS400 even though it is the same shape as the remote. Couldn't program it at all
