I am on Song 3 and all that you teach is amazing, I always wondered how they get the drums sounding professional, I use to hate drums, but now I love drums, your drum techniques you have shared make the track sound interesting. Too be honest when I started using Ableton 2 months ago, I said to myself I will not use drums for the first year, but now I can embrace the drums and use them just how I would arrange musical notes. My wife and son had a listen, they both said its sounds like what you hear on the records/spotify - you have made by life simple and have taken away all the stress and anxiety...
ОтветитьI'm so happy I've stumbled upon this. Thank you, this most definitely one of the best tutorial videos I've ever seen.
Ответитьnext time zoom ur screen pls
ОтветитьI started my production just over a month ago. Ive learned so much from this video. I will definitely keep learning. Thanks for everything joules
ОтветитьYou're awesome! Thanks a lot!
ОтветитьAbleton 10 suite does not seem to have "Scale" button on the clip view, is there an alternative besides using MIDI "Scale" effect before the clip?
ОтветитьThank you for being thorough! Best ableton course ive seen, and its free. Much appretiated
ОтветитьI quit making music about 9 years ago b/c I was just getting so frustrated about not being able to finish my tracks. My problem is i'll get to about half way through a track and get bored with it and start something new, rinse / repeat. This has been a huge eye opener. I always started my tracks from start to finish. Maybe that's why I can never finish them. I feel like trying out your method of making your loops, then work around that, then outro / intro might make it easier for me. I guess it's time to dust off the old studio room and get back to work this weekend. Thanks for the videos. I'm definitely subscribing.
ОтветитьI’m buying Ableton next week and I am SO thankful for this video! Thank you so much for taking the time to go through this. I haven’t watched all of it yet, but I intend to comb through this a couple times. You’re the best!! Immediate subscription! ❤
ОтветитьThank you for your amazing efforts. I'm new at Ableton Live and this is getting me the pointers I needed
ОтветитьWow the third song
ОтветитьHi i'm doing ableton since 3 months and i have few questions:
Standard Licence IS it good or should I have to buy suit?
Then why do I have some noises on my sound when i'm playing
Thanks❤
ОтветитьThanks Your videos have helped improve my production 100fold. Thank u.
ОтветитьThe first song sounds like Ikea's background music 🤩
ОтветитьPro producer❤
ОтветитьSeriously, thank you for this video. <3
ОтветитьThanks for this immense generosity. A full course like this and with such well thought-out progression is rare. Every new information arrives at a digestible pace. I really like that style, very calm. I am probably not your average target group being an experienced and formally educated musician and experienced composer in the classic style, but it might interest you to know, that I all the time felt challenged in the best possible way.
ОтветитьThanks Julian - your teaching method is inspirational - I am now at the half way stage - I never thought I would get this far.
ОтветитьMay i know which accent is that ?very soothing .
ОтветитьOn the Second Song now using Wavetable - Within 30 minutes - I cracked it - OMG - the energy is just what you hear on those Hit Songs - I just can't sleep - I am in Heaven
Ответитьawesome you are the 1 one Successful Artist and big Thanks for your free Credits Video
ОтветитьReally great video! I noticed your instrument categories look pretty thin. Any reason you haven't downloaded all of the available packs from Ableton? There's some really good stuff in them.
ОтветитьI almost finished this amazing course. There are really amazing tricks but I would prefer using some of the different default synths rather than wavetable all the time such as operator. You only used it to create a simple white noise without explaining. Also I expected to see other effects too. You mostly used known effects such as delay, reverb, eq8, filter etc. I saw erosion somewhere. I understand that it is a beginners course but it would be great if you add more build in effects to the last track.
ОтветитьThanks for this, seriously this is unique you will find very few producers committed like this
ОтветитьThankyou so much. Learnt alot in the first 1 hour.
Ответитьgreat video!! Can yu tell me why my ableton live 11 does not have arpeggiate me . adv? I cannot find it at all
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьWow. God bless You for this. I really needed this😇
ОтветитьWow. As a retired guitarist for 20 years, the last tracks I laid down was on Fruity Loops back in 2003. I've had the itch to write again but have been too intimidated to even pick what DAW I wanted to get to know. I feel like I've lived 2 lives since I worked with music and sound, and all my band mates have moved on. This video has been really great to get back into using my computer for something more than work. One song down, 2 more to go, then off on my own adventures. Thank you sooooo much!
ОтветитьI’ve had a copy of ableton installed for 3 years now and despite multiple attempts could never get my head round it. I play piano and have been eyeing up the roli seabord 2 but thought no point until I learn Ableton properly. Stumbled across your channel the other day and just sat down to go through this. It’s 2am and the whole day disappeared. Love this video. I now understand ableton a lot more than I ever have. Can’t thank you enough. Gonna join the discord and will share the finished tracks. Thank you thank you thank you.
ОтветитьDuuude.. thank you so much for this. You da man!
ОтветитьIf only every one of us provide some knowledge for free as you do, this world would be much, much better. Thank you!
ОтветитьThis is insane. Thanks for given us for free
Ответить🥰🙌
Ответитьwhat is minimum requirement to run full future of ableton 11 , i have win 10 with i5 2016 version , is there issue of getting crash in between running it ?
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьThanks Julian, it's like you are sitting next to me, teaching me on a 1-2-1. I am so lucky I found you. Its a dream come true!
ОтветитьThanks Jules this is awesome stuff. Question though: About 50 minutes in you add a wavetable instrument. I have Live 11 Standard and don't see any wavetable instruments. Is that stock or something extra? I installed all the packs but am wondering if I am missing pieces of Ableton.
ОтветитьHi Julian, I have a question. In the course pack, below the ad you put this: "This course is currently in the pre-order phase. As the livestreams commence new videos and project files will be uploaded to the course. All project files are being created using Ableton Live Suite 11.2.6 and a large variety of third-party VST plugins. If you are missing any of these plugins or have an outdated plugin or Ableton version then you may run into errors." Can you tell me the link where I can buy third-party VST plugins? To be sure to be equipped before starting. Thanks!
ОтветитьHi Julian, I watched this video in several parts because I'am a beginner and I wanted to stay focused every moment of this video. I am french speaking, I'm from Belgium and despite the fact that I'am not perfectly bilingual, I was able to understand everything. Thanks for your good pedagogy and your didactic means and also to your good way explaining slowly and your calm. And above all the fact you justify each gesture which help me a lot. A year ago I bought several books on sound design subject and watched a lot of videos online. But never practiced, because I wanted to know all the theory before I started. Three weeks ago I followed an online training explaining the chords, the piano roll etc and in parallel I installed the trial version of Ableton on my computer. Then, I came across your channel by chance, and by following this video I was able to realize three tracks, it's just amazing. Thank you so much. Also, I wanted to tell you that I followed a lot of people on YT for a year. And for me you are the best teacher online! I will visit your store so that it is necessary for me improve my skills and to continue learning by following you. And sorry for my english, but thanks to you, I had 8 hours of English lessons in addition to a course in music production :-) Enjoy and I wish you all the best!
ОтветитьThis has been super helpful, even better than the $199 Ableton course I bought. Your content is incredibly valuable. After watching this video, I ended up binge-watching your channel, haha! It would be awesome if you ever consider making a Full Course for Melodic Techno or something similar. You're amazing, keep up the great work!
Ответитьthank you so much \
ОтветитьUgh so I'm stuck at the very start when your creating the bass off of the bottom notes of the 4 chords, crtl c crtl e then shift down is not copying the bottom notes it will only move them around idk what I'm doing wrong
ОтветитьPlease more videos like this! Nice and easy to follow! Has massively helped me with my productions 💪🏻
ОтветитьWhat a fantastic tutorial video!! It covers everything in real time! Thanks for sharing this very long but extremely important video! ❤
