I think you've successfully shown why the US needs to collaborate with China, imagine if China assisted the US to modernise its infrastructure, it would work out cheaper and faster for the US to do that than this stupid current policy of 'win - lose'. Interestingly the rest of the world is starting to realise this and actively looking to China for 'win - win' solutions.

This time it is indeed good, but some embarrassing stereotypes have been implanted in a few parts to satisfy the bad taste of some stakeholders within WSJ. For example, the sample pictures selected will make readers think that China is still doing brainless copying without innovation. They also put into some Asian face reporter to imply that Chinese people are still following westerners' behavior and mind. this is a bit pity.

The difference between China and the United States in terms of technology isn't just about the level of development; it's also about the after-sales service of those transportation vehicles. When accidents happen with American-made airplanes, their post-incident investigations can be scrutinized by other countries. However, it's a different story when accidents involve airplanes manufactured in China. Based on past cases, they tend to choose to conceal information and even prevent third-party organizations from getting involved in the investigation. Even though China's technology is advancing, it can't prevent the impact caused by the authoritarian tendencies of this country.

To get ahead of china, US now manufactures and leads in the world in Lies, Cheats, Bullying, Blackmailing, disrespecting etc... which China and the rest of the world falling far behind.

China's EV market is a charade. A lot of EVs from BYD end up in graveyards never to be used again. Stop hyping up the Chinese market because none of their EVs last 6 months. Tesla is being forced out the market out by the CCP in retaliation of Huawei and other Chinese companies being sanctioned by the US.

The issue isn't so much that American find that we might need to go more than 300 miles on a trip, it's that if we have to stop to recharge the batteries after, say, 200 miles, that's a 30-60 min pit stop we didn't need to make. Even if we decide we want the pit stop, we might not want to stay there for 30-60min.

It’s not popular because Chinese trains go up to 600 km h ( some) .
