Do you have any good social networking sites? Check for other Vietnamese in your area, see if there's an interest in getting together to make the foods from home. That could be fun.
ОтветитьAwesome!!!
ОтветитьI don't understand why you said that your German boyfriend is not very good at cooking. It seems pretty obvious that you are also just learning. The dishes you prepared here are easier to make than some of the ones that he made on the video of him cooking for a day.
ОтветитьListen Uyenh. If you do not succeed with your pickles.... Do NOT use iodized salt! Iodine is antibacterial! And the whole point of pickling is to have bacteria digesting your food and making it sour.
ОтветитьOoh that rice paper make wet thingy is awesome!! Vietnamese food is one of the best foods I've ever tried, in Montreal I used to live really close to a delicious Vietnamese restaurant and i moved away to a small town and i miss it so much!!! I need to learn to make my own too so I can have more delicious foods (where i live now it's only pizza :( )
ОтветитьCan you please make more videos with easy to do vietnamese food?
ОтветитьMonnem!
ОтветитьLove the video as usual - but, please, the "music" is very distracting! Why does everyone who makes videos talk over music? I lose interest when there is music! PLEASE! no music!
Ответитьit's so nice to see this :) my husband is from Taiwan and we live in Amsterdam together ;) I can relate a lot with your 'dillema' with regards to asian food in Europe ^_^ . Love your vids. Ps. In The Netherlands we boil eggs just as you do. just some water in a pan, no fancy stuff.
ОтветитьI'd love to try the Anh Vu!!! Which shop did you get it? At Central Station? 😇😉
ОтветитьI thought fermentation takes at least 3 days ?! I am confused
ОтветитьWhy do you always wear a robe and not proper daytime attire??
ОтветитьI had Vietnamese food for the first time Sunday and it was so good!
Ответитьit was always hard for me to grow mung bean, because of how hard it is to avoid the light on them making them bitter. Definitely gonna try the carton! bet it will work great for other "baby" plants too 😊 Also if you like the onions, try adding pork floss. It is one of my favorite to add to mung bean type fillings
ОтветитьIt takes more than a few days to ferment vegetables
ОтветитьMaybe it's the lighting and the camera, but those eggs looked slightly over cooked, little green...
ОтветитьI just love German boyfriend 😂❤😅 he’s all of our boyfriend , he’s what we all deserve! Waking uyen up like a princess supporting nd encouraging her but never treating her less than 😂 the sweetest! He reminds me of my hubby too but more wholesome cuz mine is like a dog in heat following me around 😅😅
ОтветитьIt looks delicious! Love your videos, Uyen.
ОтветитьI love her so much !!!
ОтветитьI want you to make a Vietnamese snake winfe, lizard wine and so on with your BF 🦢 it will be exceptionally funny 🪰
Ответитьloved it🎉
ОтветитьI'm jealous of your huge pickle press, I have a tiny one for Japanese pickles, I would love to have a bigger one to make more (and have more yummy pickles at once).
ОтветитьWait longer, three weeks, and press the cabbage with the rolling pin end.
ОтветитьЭто же квашеная капуста
ОтветитьIt takes equal parts vinegar and water to pickle it. Salt to your taste after you have the vinegar to water ratio even.
ОтветитьYou can go home adios.
ОтветитьOkay that egg boiler thing shud be illegal. It boiled the egg to death ewwwwwwwww
ОтветитьLove you!!!!!
ОтветитьHey Uyen, a tip for the pickles: fermenting is disturbed when using salt with iodine (because it is antibacterial). Try sea salt instead and it should work just fine! The recipe is 10g of salt on 1kg of vegetables! Good luck next time 🙂
ОтветитьIn India we call "mung beans" moong daal
ОтветитьSo glad you have a nice Asian market there. It’s the thing I miss most about being in Eastern Europe.
ОтветитьI can hear your German accent in your English. It’s cute 😊
ОтветитьI love vietnamese food so much. But I don't eat meat and only eat fish and seafood (in Hanoi I had to decide to just avoide pieces of meat and just ignore that broth is meaty). Can you please come up with loads and loads of recipies that are adpted to my diet😅?
ОтветитьIn USA we have both. Mom bought the countertop egg cooker, I use pan and boiling water. Add egg. Turn off heat. Time egg. 😂my dad doesn't do quick dip in wrapper water container, rice paper rips and falls apart..😊😅
ОтветитьLooks like you might salt the veggies before you put them in there. It makes water come out. You squeeze the cabbage after salting. Salt used weighs 1/3 of the veggies, I think
Ответитьcant u grow mung beans on cotton
ОтветитьYou can´t use vinnegar if you want to ferment somethink. Usually we use vinnegar at the end of fermenting, when we want to stop the proces.
ОтветитьYou’re the best! You are so real and not afraid to be real. The world should learn to be more real.
ОтветитьVery interesting! Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
ОтветитьWhere did you buy that thingie for rice paper? :O Trying to find it anywhere :(
ОтветитьHer: "I need food, real food" Germany:"But ve are famous for da real food" Her: "Not good enough!" makes delish looking Vietnamese burritos Germany:"You're right, this is better." That rice paper device is genius. I have to look for one now.
ОтветитьMe finishing my essay about u
“As you can see, this woman is hardworking and not lazy.”
Please do so much more of these videos!
ОтветитьCan you list the ingredients you used for the spring roll? I cannot follow but I really wanna try 😮
ОтветитьIodized Salt (Jodsalz) isn't good for pickeling. Use sea salt (Meersalz) or table salt (Tafelsalz).
ОтветитьIt takes courage to experiment.
ОтветитьOMG, where did you buy this pantry cabinet?? I need it so much!
ОтветитьMy fermented pickles usually take a few days or a week depending on how hot the kitchen is. You can see little bubbles in the water when it starts to ferment.
