PlayStation Network Disconnecting - How To Reconnect and STABILIZE Your Internet For Speed and Lag

Someone please help I been looking at multiple videos and it still would not work. PLEASE HELP!

So I'm still on PS4- never had an issue and bought this ps4 brand new (only one owner, myself) Never had an issue with connection UNTIL I bought the digital version of DL2. I couldn't even play the game. I played about 15 mins and quit bc I had so many issues. I've tried everything OTHER THAN factory resetting my ps4. DNS settings, power off & unplug for 5 mins, manually connect to wifi- NOTHING WORKS. My bf has ps4 as well and his never has this issue.

My ps4 disconnects from Wi-Fi it will take me 6-10 times restarting and turning off my my ps4 but will work then I turn it off after playing a game and the next time I go to turn it on when I wanna hop back on it does it again and I have to redo everything again on trying so hard to reconnect it back to my Wi-Fi

i have tried everything i could but nothing is working. if anyone that has had this problem in the past can tell me for how long was this happening for you

How do I fix this ... Streaming app loads the video, plays all the commercials with no problems and when the video is about to play it says network error, I deleted the app and downloaded it again and it worked before, now that doesn't work :/

I haven't been playing for 1 year and now that it's plugged in it switches the WiFi off randomly. Can someone help me?

Any tips for when it only disconnects you when you try to message someone? For whatever reason anytime i try to message someone or start a party it i lag so bad and disconnect

I have acctually found a soloution that Worked for me and that was that when i played on my ps4 i would usually play on mouse and keyboard and ps4 disconnects the wifi because the controller hasnt been touched so it automatically disconnects from Wi-Fi

This happens with me in Genshin Impact. Whenever i start the game, my internet is at 120~145 normally, but if i engage an enemy in battle or i use an elemental skill, it just reaches immediatly to 999 ping. This only happens with this game in specific. Other games i play, like Monster Hunter or Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel don't show that problem. I did the method of closing and opening the game, and it worked. Fully appreciate the tips, I'm looking for ways to fix my connection as i stream games to my channel direct from my PS4, and from time to time i get randomly kicked off stream, no idea why! Used to happen once in a blue moon but not it happens almost every stream and it's really become a pain... This was the first vid YT recommended me to watch just so you know. Didn't solve my issue but i'll check out more of your content for ways to sort out the issue, thanks for a really informative vid!

So I have a similar problem however I recently upgraded to the best wifi router and I test the speed on my phone I get about 300-400 mbps however on ps4 I can’t understand why wifi is slow on my ps4 it only registers about 10-30 mbps and wired connection is about 199-260 mbps however my wifi is not the problem I don’t know what’s wrong with my ps4 it can’t register that fast 5ghz it has to be at a certain range but I have my console in front of the router and on 5ghz I only get about 50-60 Mbps idk what’s wrong but Ik it’s not my wifi




Anyone knows how to fix this solution on ps4

How can two people play warzone 2.0 in the same house hold but don't wanna use split screen because I can't play if someone in the same house hold is playing won't let me n is so frustrating because I have to wait for them to change games to play warzone

Did a few things such as restarting a few times testing the connection a couple of times and then logging out of psn and back in

I hope this help, cause my ps4 keep disconnected from the wifi only when I'm play Overwatch 1(before the game shut down) and Overwatch 2. It also happens on Genshin Impact, but it away reconnect by itself just couple second after disconnect. So it never cause me to log off the game, except for Overwatch. I literally got 3 banned strict for Comp because of it!

If this is happening to you guys this simply mean you need a new router I had this problem and when I got a new router it never happened again and the dns changing is temporary it may work every once and a while but this means you need a new router
