This song and scene literally made me love Rock music when I was a kid.
ОтветитьSi alguna vez Dios me da la bendición de tener un hij@ le mostraré este video. Es oro puro
ОтветитьHe should’ve included Smash Mouth under the Pop Rock category on the blackboard and he also should’ve made a category for kids and included The Wiggles!
ОтветитьThis video gives me goosebumps everytime
ОтветитьHonestly best part of the movie
ОтветитьI’m a teacher & the first time I saw this film, I cried watching this montage. Dewey was the ultimate educator! ❤️
Ответить❤❤❤❤ ❤
ОтветитьI don't think there's a better song for this montage.
I basically had the same reaction as Freddy when watching Led Zeppelin live for the first time.
If you haven't seen the movie The Song Remains the Same (1976), that needs to be changed that ASAP.
Art Blakey, Buddy Rich, Keith Moon…imagine having all of them drumming in 2023 🤤
ОтветитьFukn lovethe Ramones ❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьThis movie changed my life when i saw this when i was around 10 years old in 2003/04. It opened the door and helped me discover rock and metal music which helped me get through so much throughout for my life ❤
ОтветитьMan this song and scene hit hard when i was a kid and it still does 20 years later. Watched this tonight because my girl hadn't seen it yet 😂
ОтветитьJesus love this tune
ОтветитьFrom one Kevin to another Kevin, I hope you're resting easy.
ОтветитьOut of all the kids in this movie, I always related to Kevin Clark's character growing up.
A pissed off percussionist looking for a guidance and acceptance for being a pissed off kid
Jack is Great ! I cried when I saw this scene!❤
ОтветитьLove this scene always all time
ОтветитьOne of the best movies of our generation. Long live Rock n Roll
ОтветитьThis movie is the whole reason I’m super into rock, metal, and punk
ОтветитьHe's got Roxy Music under "glam"
ОтветитьOne of the best montages ever!! Don’t care what anyone says the little details are amazing !
ОтветитьIt's actually pronounced Schnéblé.
Ответитьas a kid i always thought the ending was going to be Dewey getting the job as the music teacher 😅
ОтветитьI love this scene so much! You can see JBs love for rock in every frame.
ОтветитьNow That's Awesome 😎
ОтветитьMusic lessons in school should of been tote by jack black instead of old ladies.with John Phillip Sousa records😢
Ответитьhappy 20th anniversary! r.i.p. kevin clark aka freddy :( keep on rocking out with god & rocking the drums with Him in heaven
ОтветитьRAMONES PARA SEMPRE 🇧🇷
ОтветитьI always wanted to play the drums, never told anyone but the part with Freddy was me but I never thought I could ever learn and lately I’ve been getting into Def Leppard and after seeing Rick Allen it makes me really wanna look into lessons. And I love rap music so ofc I work on writing too but yeah this movie helped so many people and was ahead of its time but also we needed it. 💯🫶🏼🖤
ОтветитьRamones!!!
ОтветитьUm dos melhores filme já feito sobre rock n roll! Passei a ouvir rock graças a esse filme!
ОтветитьThe fact that despite Dewey tricking those kids into learning something unrelated to academics, he actually awakened their inner talents more than the school could possibly do.
Fancy pants was able to express his taste and artistic approach in fashion.
Turkey Sub and the other two girls were able to discover and learn that their talent is singing.
He gave Zac confidence and a new passion for rock and roll.
He taught katie the way to a bass guitar.
Summer was able to also adapt to being a good manager despite being a kid.
Taught freddy a new approach on percussion and drums, taught Lawrence that despite being a nerd you can actually be cool in keyboard.
And the other kids discovered their talents in being technical supports.
Being raised by a rock loving father, I never shared his love for it until around the time of this movie. He'd always show me rock DVDs (The Who, Bruce Springsteen, Led Zeppelin, etc.) that he had and always had some concert or album playing. He was a massive Who fan, so I'm very familiar with their Isle of Wight, Woodstock, and Live at Leeds performances. I can consciously remember watching a video of Eric Clapton playing and dying to want to learn how to play. Add the craze of guitar hero and The School of Rock to feed my fascination with rock music and it culminated into a lifelong religion. I truly don't know who I'd be without such a childhood.
ОтветитьZarabisy film.
ОтветитьI watched this film with my parents when I was a kid. I have no doubt that's the reason why I fkn love rock n roll nowadays. Thx Jack Black!
ОтветитьSOM DO CARALHO EXCELENTE
ОтветитьThis video is great ❤❤❤
ОтветитьThis movie came out when i was a kid and now realize as an adult i didnt wanna grow up
ОтветитьMagical movie, and educational for generations to come! Rock is best music in human history! Raw, honest, loud and way of life and creativity!
Ответитьanybody know where that clip of angus young is from! always stricked something in me from the first time i watched this as a child but never found out where it came from!
ОтветитьI’m glad they found space on the chalkboard for Janis Joplin. She is truly underrated in the Blues Catergory. I fell in love with her when I heard her sing Little Girl Blue 😢💙
ОтветитьEven now, after 12 years that I'd watched this movie, this still my favorite scene and also my favorite from Ramones :')
ОтветитьLove Angus Young's "spasm" moves.
Ответитьfire miss the old jables
ОтветитьI swear, the moment of Dewey teaching them all genres and bands on that blackboard is legit one of the most amazing scenes ever
