I know this is an old video but did you ever find out the original “Deathwish” was supposed to kill Franklin and have the player pick up as Lamar? Also Micheal and Trevor’s deaths were more gruesome as well.

Amanda wasn't actually cheating on Michael. If you read into it and listen to some dialogue in the game you actually figure out that they have an open relationship. Their agreement, however, is that if they engage with other people, it's outside of their house. That's why Michael was pissed with the tennis coach. Not because he was banging his wife, but because he was banging his wife in his own house in his own bed. The whole point is that Michael nor Amanda have to see each other have relations with other people. They both even have an anonymous dating site profile and can actually have a conversation in which Michael figures out that it's Amanda he's talking to

Fun fact, i'ts stated that Amanda cheated on Michael because he did first with a prostitute, not to defend Amanda, but both grown ass adults in that family are assholes

After Michael and Lester talk about Niko from GTA IV, Lester also mentions working with someone unpredictable which is a reference to your GTA Online Character

What you said about RDR’s missions is kinda spot on, but the overall story makes up for it. I think if there’s an RDR3 they need 3 leads like in GTA5. Give us 3 perspectives of the old west, each with their own abilities like in GTA3. Give us horse races, dueling tournaments, and rodeos. Shit, let’s take it a step further and go full satire for the 3rd entry. A less serious RDR would be amazing. And now without the story restrictions of the Van der Linde gang moving forward, everything’s permissible.

Am I the only one who thought Michael could’ve easily made that shot at the graveyard, I know Trevor was running away and threw the gun, but Michael is the best shot out of the three protagonists, so i feel like he might’ve hesitated just as much as Trevor did, although maybe I’m reading into it a bit too much

I kind of wanted Death Wish to kill off micheal and Trevor. Then just play solo as Franklin in story mode. I don’t want 3 main characters.

Jokes aside, the fact this game has lasted as long as it has is kind of a testament to how good it is. Sure, 90% of that was releasing on newer consoles and milking GTA Online for every possible drop but in spite of that knowledge, it's still thriving, on the back of an already very good game. There's a lot of ways to play GTA V and I think that makes up for the slightly barebones story somewhat. It was never going to beat Red Dead Redemption, it was never supposed to. The only things I can really complain about with it are things they intentionally made insufferable for story reasons, like Michael's family, Devin Weston and so forth. That, and I wish more of the update content added over the years was added to single player as well. They stopped adding it after the Ill Gotten Gains updates, which I understand since there's been so many new ones since then and they all have to be made ridiculously expensive to fit their DLC status (With the exception of the Assault SMG, for some reason), but there's dozens of weapons and probably hundreds of vehicles that story mode players will never get to see or use.

All this to say, GTA V is a great sandbox game, you can get joy out of anything from driving or flying around the map listening to the radio to using the Lester Assassinations to minmax your money with all 3 characters to filling your garages with cars to murdering everything that moves.

The detail of Trevor spinning the shovel before cracking open the coffin is a nice detail I love it’s as if Trevor is spinning the wheel on whether or not what he’s gonna find in the grave and the outcome of his relationship with Micheal

I may be smoking crack here BUT, in the scene where Lester jokes that Moses found Jesus and mentions Niko, he also talks about a bunch of Irish guys, idk why but it made me think of the O’driscolls from rdr2, again I am probably smoking crack but like…would be a cool intended reference

honestly one if the most underrated part of the game is how franklin changes demeanor without changing himself. In the beginning he carries himself significantly differently. And i feel like michael was more making fun of that than Franklin in a racist way like the other characters who believe franklin is dumb bc he is black. When michael saw this as only a lack of experience thing
