What was your favourite shot we created with the Pro2be in this video? 🤔
ОтветитьCan the 35degree one be straight too, or is it only for filming from above?
I want to buy one of them, but hope to find one that fits for all my miniature filmings.
Probes are around since long. Its just the Canon mount which is new and properly changed the price astronomical
ОтветитьGreat review, thank you very much!
Ответитьyes i will by 2 of each, thank you very much
ОтветитьFantastic comparison as always. When you compare the quality between lenses I wish that you would zoom in and show them at the screen together. So you show for example a grid of 4 at the same time. This makes it much easier compare. I did this myself by just taking screens from yours and putting them next to each other. We currently have the previous periprobe and it is fantastic but plan on upgrading to using EF mount. I like that you can switch to PL mount easily. It feels like EF is dying and RF cannot quite replace it with Canon not letting others develop for it so we may have to move over to PL mount at a point. Sadly there are so many interesting still lenses that I would like to use while filming and the PL mounts can be so expensive. I'm looking at you Zeiss Supreme lenses.
ОтветитьI feel you could have been more explicit and stated up front the lens was supplied to you for a review. Now I wait some someone who bought on to talk about it. Its been two months and nothing..
ОтветитьA game changer. Unless you're the one being probed. Then it's just another Tuesday.
Ответитьinteresting lens, but, for those of us who use F stops, aka most photographers, could you explain the difference?, is 1T = f0.95? OR F1.2 ? as not many would understand what you, or Laowa for that matter mean.
Ответитьbecause of your video, MKBHD has 2 on order already probably :)
ОтветитьIf you could only get one which one would you get?
ОтветитьI'm seeing a lot of dust specs in the image. Were they inside the lens?
ОтветитьJust use a regular lens, dude.
Ответитьwaits for Astrhori to make a single base, 3 lens kit for a 3rd of the price of one Laowa
Ответитьpro2be is obviously just pronouced protube 😭😭😭
ОтветитьT40?! Goddamn no wonder you were using so much light!
ОтветитьIt’d be cool if they had a button that would allow different rotation angles instead of wimpy grub screws.
ОтветитьI took my Zoom video recorder and cut away part of the front shroud to remove the m12 lens it has. I then put an f0.95 lens on it. OMG AMAZING. Can unscrew it for massive macro and I don't have any lighting problems with it at all. It can see IR also.
ОтветитьHritik roshan in parallel universe 😂
Ответитьinformative video thanks CVP.
ОтветитьOuch I didn't expect the price tag of £8k from Laowa, I'll stick with my original Probe Lens.
ОтветитьChtudio
ОтветитьCreative shots are 🔥💣 good work guys
ОтветитьLaowa keeps innovating with these speciality lenses. WOW!
Totally random question. But, I'm Curious why you guys are using a PortKeys on your Raptor and not the RED/SmallHD control? I'm planning to rent a Raptor for some projects at the end of the month. I have a pair of BM5s but were thinking maybe two small for 8K...
Would be great to test v1 probe vs periprobe vs pro2. The pro2 is so much bigger and longer than it will be more difficult to use it, and more shaky when used on motion control. For me the best one is still the v1 probe.
Ответитьcute elephant
ОтветитьGreat video. Obviously it’d depend on user by user needs but if you were to only get one module which one would you pick up?
ОтветитьIt is weird that they aren't selling a kit with one rear group and three probes lenses. Or even just selling the three probe lens groups separately. That was my original assumption on how they would sell the kit rather than as three full lens sets.
ОтветитьBaffled by no gearing on the rotation like the periprobe! Literally stopped my order in its tracks.
ОтветитьI love to browse your website. Especially the demo/used section aince you see bery unique lenses that aren't ever showing up to my consumer eyes. Like those century optics modular periscope system.
Via my intrest for thermal cameras, I came across some of the camera/lens constructions by Martin Dohrn and they had all kinds of macro kit to film ants with a motion control rig.
I do enjoy seeing all this specialized tools shown to a more broader audience, since the idea of crafting something unique in a studio or capturing wildlife from a perspective inaccessible to human eyes is the level of craftsmanship I like in filmmaking.
Will this product open it up for a broader userbase? I honestly doubt it.
I have the 6mm cine from laowa and really dislike the lens cap too. It isnt screwed, grabbed or magnetic. Just some felt on the side. It slips out way to easily. So you cant really keep the lens in your pocket or loosely in a bag (which I usually do). It does come with a nice pelican case tho.
Great review. What do you think causes the colour shift? Would that be down to the coating of the glass or
