Loved this video. I'm 2 leagues in and really enjoying poe. This league I've been starting to really optimize and this video showed me I'm on the right path. Most of the things I was already doing so that validated me and there were even a few high level crafting tips that I didn't know. Keep up the great work

Thank you for this guide. I'm playing SSF league for the first time and I have reached a wall when it comes to leveling. My character is a level 90 minion Guardian and I'm starting red maps. I have completed almost all white and yellow maps without problems but red maps are something else. I can clear them but I'm dying at least once per map and not progressing when it to leveling. The only avenue for improvement I can see is through equipment but I really don't know what stats to look for (except for resistances and life as those are obvious). I also have some hard locked slots as my weapon and gloves are unique and important for my build. And I'm also using the anvil unique amulet for block improvement. I did not play the league mechanic because I didn't enjoy it so I don't have tattoos. I'm stuck at level 90 for now.

You forgot that nothing sells on standard because its dead

This is one of the reasons cause I like to play SSF and not standard :D

Can I have some advice? It's my first league, and I still don't really know what I'm doing. So I looted a Kalindra's RING and while I can understand how it could potentially be a really great find, I'm afraid I don't really know what to actually DO with it. The price is always increasing, and I feel like someone with more experience in the game could make better use of it, and I could use the money to bankroll just about any other build I might want to do (again, "as" still a relative newbie). Question: It's about halfway into the season, should I sell it ASAP or wait a bit longer as the price keeps increasing? I'm not really struggling, but I also wouldn't mind trying a few other builds in this league. AS ALWAYS thanks for the advice!!!

Very new to PoE, but been having fun so far. I have been playin PoE as a Guardian in stages. Learning tons. I am at the stage now, that I need to do better item management. I am sure I have on crap too, not knowing what to equip at this point. Tacking the skill tree is a whole other stage, but did manage to get to Act 4 as of yesterday!

A so called 6 league player told me a corrupted gem cannot be level up hence asking for a cheaper price.

Be careful with this kind of player.

It's so weird for me, coming from the diablo 3 space, where +maximum life is pretty bad and now it being the first thing almost every piece of gear wants :D

Thank you for saying about the missing the potential item part, I think we all need that mentality and not too crazy about it.

Even playing off and on since Beta, what helped me the most was down losing PoE trade and letting it nudge me toward the good stuff. Once I had done that long enough I was able to get a vague sense and start discarding 95% of the junk quickly. Now I only price check maybe 1/20 items, and sometimes to just to figure out the range for the item.

Something to you can do later in a league is to have a stash tab priced at 20 to 40 chaos and just throw in all the high ilvl rings and amulets without looking at them. If you get spammed for an item you can just reprice it individually and stuff that doesn't sell just gets vendored after a few days.

Tbh, on SC trade past the first 2-3 days of the league you should just hide all rares other than jewels. The chances of identifying something actually valuable are so low that you will make more money just mapping faster instead of wasting time picking up rares, identifying them and checking them for good stats. Sure, sometimes you'll pick up some boots that will sell for a div or two, but in the time you spend picking up boots you could have made 3 times more currency just off of the exarch/eater invitations. There's like a billion of possible stat and tier combinations on each piece of gear, don't waste your time.

It would be great to see how you set up your item filter over time at each step of the leauge.

so something me and my friend started doing after seeing it on another video was to make a quad tab for a set price and we just dumb everything in it, and we just dump everything we don't plan on using in it then if it sells we look over the states and we have been slowing listing out bases and combos of mods that sell well, this has helped us a lot with figuring out what mods sell more often and in what combinations typically sell, its also helped a lot with cluster jewels and jewels in general

I would like to know more about blocking mods. Is there a way to learn this on a specific item i drop, on craftofexile for example ?

Having several stash tabs with ascending prices is great aswell. Put for example all your rare jewels in a stash tab with the price put to 1d, and each day you lower the price until something sells.

I solve this in a much simpler way... I returned to the game after like 3 years of not playing so I just ignore rares and go for guarantueed profit items only... I probably lose on a ton of profit but I enjoy the game more than when I used to worry about rare items

Personally, I find that the probability of randomly picking up a really good rare is low enough that it's simply not worth all the effort it takes to sift through them. So I just sell them all indiscriminately. Yes I probably miss from some great rares, but it's far less tedious.

Talk about perfect timing! I just started playing for the first time yesterday. One of my first questions was "How do I know which gear to keep?" I'm used to the concept, coming over from Diablo 4, but PoE is a different game. I even asked around on your discord this morning and, a few hors later, viola: you delivered this video! The chart is EXTREMELY helpful!! I'm going to print it and post it near my PS4. Some of the stuff was over my head but it will come in time. Thank you so much for a fantastic video!

Best guide you will need is . get a couple quad tabs drop all find there to 100 C if you get spammed for anything is worth more. If the items don't sell after a few hours drop the price of the tab to 50 C.

Keep doing this until the price your are comfy able leaving a map to a sell. Easy as hell..

after 2 weeks into league i don't identify any item that's not fractured and below ilevel 83 unless i am specifically looking for a low level fractured item to make crafting easier in some case
