You’re one of the few honest simmer these days, everyone is on EA’s payroll 😪
ОтветитьThat looks like the entrance room you get when first starting sims medieval. 😅
ОтветитьI feel like people should just buy sims mideval instead 🙃
ОтветитьThe stuff in it doesn't look bad, but I've seen what is on the gallery without CC and people have made what was already in game work to make fantastic castle builds (including a few VERY realistic looking Hogwarts castles). So it looks like it will make some builds easier, but it doesn't feel like it really provided anything new. Also, STILL NO SPIRAL STAIRS??? This feels like it would have been the perfect pack to add them.
ОтветитьI'd rather had a game pack related to medieval themes... poetry, fencing, off grid toilets, moats, small world kinda english/french village themed with carriage rides.
ОтветитьWell I like the idea of building castles. It could be good for storytelling, like modern wealthy sims living in a castle that belogend to their ancestors (Landgraabs for sure xD). But I guess I'll just skip this one...
ОтветитьThis is 10 Australian dollars for the tiniest bit of amusement this would provide. Such bullshit. If you don't count the items that are variants of themselves it's like 5 items.
ОтветитьTHE EPSTEIN COMMENT LMAOOO (kit looks nice)
Ответитьthey need make a more emotional and hobbies kit as well as a mid evil clothing and furniture kit
ОтветитьCastles suit henford on begley beautifully. I’ve just been pretending my sims restored old abandoned castles like on the restoration shows lol
Ответить“If they were feeling ambitious” - A feeling EA haven’t felt for years 🤣
ОтветитьOk. I never really cared about kits
BUUUUUUUT
i hope we get more kits and maybe a pack related to this. Id especially love it if they gave us a rococo pack where our sim explores a new worl but it feels like another time.with rococo clothes powdered wigs and new jobs suchs as duke/dutchess lord/ lady, king/queen with a choice of living in your own chateau cottage or live with other richy rich people in the sims version of Versailles
ОтветитьA mote
ОтветитьAnd now they've just released a "challenge" that's an empty castle for you to decorate the interior. It's obvious they're mocking us with this pack now.
ОтветитьHow to build a proper castle without a drawbridge and a castle wall latrine??? 😂😂
ОтветитьHonestly, this kit should have included several interior objects, AT LEAST. I love the idea, disappointed with the execution.
Ответитьcan't wait for castle bedroom, dining room, bathroom, kitchen, and living room kits (each sold separately)
Ответитьthe stone staircase can be stretched to be huge and very grand! ❤
ОтветитьIn a game crying out for gameplay, a medieval fantasy game-pack could have done so much. Ya the kit ain't going to cut it.
ОтветитьThis must be a joke...
Ответитьyou are hilarious and love your content <3
ОтветитьI want a medival game pack with
- small France/ Germany inspired world
- opera balls as game play where your sims can dance waltz together
- ball gowns
- lot type castle that can be used to explore but also as wedding venues and as a place for the opera ball
- traits : history enthusiast and opera ball lover
- career: tour guide
I know what you are going to say THE SIMS 4 COULD NEVER
Can you build hogwarts .. that’s the question
ОтветитьIt fits beautifully in the Cottage Living world and it would make a great place for an old university. However I agree with you. There is some basegame stuff you can filter on (victorian for example I believe) but still... I rather have it fleshed out as well
ОтветитьOmg I apsoutley adore you. So real and hilarious. Best personality. Keep posting!! 😂❤🤗
ОтветитьI called it “ it’s going to be a kit with a few things”.
Ответитьlove your fort and castle wallways! upload to gallery! this kit was made for me, if i didn't know it was coming out... wouldn't have ever downloaded ts4 content.. from the free base game to th 54.99 for rent pack duh
ОтветитьGuys I’m not being funny but even with all the elements this still looks WAY less realistic than the Sims Medieval which came out years ago?? Did they just sack every member of the development team who had visited Europe?
ОтветитьIts not bad but as you said it only really covers the exterior of buildings. I was disappointed they were only doing a build kit of this in the first place tbh. I had always hoped there would be a remake of The sims 2 medieval. Oh well we can still play that I guess. Castle Estate got the basics right on the outside but there's certainly a lot more they could have done. But, I guess with a kit its to be expected.
ОтветитьAs you say it is a total American take. It's the very same pseudo-gothic architectural aesthetic that has long made Harvard and Yale famous. Neither originated in a medieval era, but both carry with them the same, feudal baggage just with Puritanical ideas of 'emancipation' incubated from across the pond. Aesthetically it's just a DIY ctrl+c.
Ответитьwhy do ppl keep paying for this shit
ОтветитьMade me lmao when u said it's giving epstein island
ОтветитьCan't Larian Studios just make us a Sims medieval game with real gameplay 😭 they could probably make an amazing role-playing life Sim game
ОтветитьWhen I opened it I acc thought they were taking the piss because it’s bare asf
ОтветитьIs it just me or do the windows in this kit keep glitching out and disapearing when walls fully up and moving round the castle in build mode? I have quite a good gaming pc and never had it do this before I got this kit.
ОтветитьThis kit is not bad but it is simply not worth your money!😩For everyone who want to understand HOW MUCH EA failed with this castle kit and how great it could be if made not by EA - go to check Felixandre custom content! The Quality of Felixandre CC is simply better than anything EA ever made for Build&Buy mode! And I am not exaggerating - there is tons of objects, it's always a full collection, they look and work awesome, there is tons of swatches and they are all match etc. If you want to spend your money to get something which would be worth it - better spend them on Felixandre stuff. On top of it you can try his stuff for free, since it is paywalled only for first few months. So, the point is EA is so lazy and greedy at the same time, so they even failed to recreate some awesome ideas of modding community like modular library, curved bottom of stairs, awesome medieval windows, vaulted ceilings! working curved stairs, elevators and many more. Modders can make it while such a big and rich company as EA can't!!! 🤬
Ответить“Ive been to castles many many times on boring school trips” said no American ever lol
ОтветитьWhen I looked at the contents of this kit I was soooo underwhelmed
ОтветитьA little slit one 😂
ОтветитьIt can be use for the royalty mod
ОтветитьIt should’ve been a stuff pack so that they can add actual items outside of building. Shouldn’t have to mix and match packs to use this.
ОтветитьHit the nail on the head with the entirety of the sims 4 to be honest, ‘I don’t want to pretend, I want to play’
ОтветитьYou know, Cult of the Lamb, an indie title maintained by a smaller team than EA, literally just had a huge FREE update adding so much gameplay and features. Meanwhile, EA is still charging us premium for bite-sized content packs that feel like they should be an SDX drop...
ОтветитьIf I want to build a believable castle, I'd use some CC. I'd get more assets of better quality, including the furniture. Then, I'd also have clothing matching my castle.
ОтветитьHonestly this would really nice for a wedding venue.
ОтветитьI'm genuinely just using this kit to make the "dirty church" in Clermond Ferrand, name it that, then send it to my French friends who live there to annoy them. Cuz you know, priorities...
ОтветитьThis guy begins every laugh with the letter "D" and people love it.
ОтветитьLet's just all play The Sims Medieval and feel better.
ОтветитьMy thoughts when I saw this kit: It's nice but it's unfinished, that is, it's clearly a part of something else sold separately. We could easily have had castles and goth stuff the same time we had vampires, which should have come with werewolves, spellcasters, ghosts, and aliens. The next problem this presents is, how are modern-looking Sims going to fit in here? They aren't. We're going to have download a ton of medieval cc and whatknot. Then there's the issue of Sims fiddling with their phones every five minutes, ruining the illusion. The castles alone don't fit in anywhere, except maybe for Vladdy Daddy's home, and revamp of the Beaker household. That's it.
