One thing that may be too obvious to mention: card quality is way higher in cube, which means you're not going to get stuck with "unplayables" like you do in a normal set. In fact, you'll have too many playables if you just draft playables every time. This gives you leeway to speculate on picks as well as incentivizes you to pick lands. If you end the draft with 30 playables and no fixing, that's much worse than 23 playables and 7 fixing lands.

I totally got baited as a newcomer to cube, hearing manarocks are lit, Sheoldred and Emrakul are top 10 performing cards, blue is amazing and Oracle of the Alpha being fun. My results didn't start improving until I considered going for a more simple gameplan, dabble in monoW, add some missing early game and removal into BW.

Ultimately, the only deck I managed to trophy with was monoR. 1 drop with haste? First pick material. Card has haste, trample, flying SMOrc written all over it? Count me in.

Excellent primer. From my perspective as a teacher Chord has the best limited presentations. I managed to lose a game this Cube where I chained Breach into Etali! Recast Breach out of the grave after stealing Saiba Summoner to mill opponent out but their last card in hand was a counterspell (which they had gotten out of grave post time twister)

How do you know that GIH WR for different cards in Arena Cube? I can't find it on 17lands
