ОтветитьLove my Evo, but FBO IX (Intake, Exhaust, FMIC and piping,) should be making like 350whp which would be like 100whp over stock. My evo VIII with FBO and cams made 350whp.

The people that have things wrong with their Evo's are the people that are too stupid to realize what they are doing or try to cut corners. After owning 3 Evo's I can confidently say its people that are the problem not the car.

ОтветитьYou talk a lot of shir "power house". , thyerer about 1500kg, evo makes it about 2000 to about 4500, a pertty good range. TJ Hunt we've had these in the uk for 18 years now and your rewiew is pretty wack, the 8 had vvti. so did the 9. :/. Overall your review was abour a 3/10 What a crock of shit.
ОтветитьThe 4g63 is stout the transmission and transfer case is what's weak on the Evo also the steering is blistering quick. It only takes 2 turns for full lock on the wheels. The harder you drive the car the quicker the steering. You are the first person to ever say that the Evo steering is slow!

ОтветитьYou do realize that’s a misnomer. North American sti were shitty 2.5l. Japanese and European were semi closed deck 2.0l making the same stock number as the evo.

ОтветитьEvos got bad raps because people who couldn’t afford to build it up properly went for max power the cheapest way. You can get power easily and quite a bit at that but often you’ll see a lot of fast evos for sale that have been abused and those are the ones that give the next owner a lot of trouble

Ответитьi like both evo and sti cars but none of those are good dailies, you can daily almost anything but a good daily is a car thats reliable, got good amount of space, seats and gets good mpg and COMFORT. camry, avensis, vw passat, even a 2 liter diesel with 100hp is good for daily. Had 66kw/90hp mitsubishi that would make 50-60mg, had 4 doors and good trunk to haul my shits, and those cars rarely cost more than 1500$ THATS A DAILY.

ОтветитьPeople need to say 4G63T when referring to the Evo engine, my brother has a Galant with a 4G63 which means it's the N/A version of the engine.
T unsurprisingly means it's Turbocharged.
