How I Animated on Procreate! [Fnaf video]

I recently started animating on procreate and when I realized you couldn’t add audio I screamed. The more you use it the easier it is! (Just remember the beat in your head XD) Good thing procreate dreams is coming out soon!!

This was great video, though if there’s one iPad animation app I recommend before procreate dreams, it’s toonsquid.

How the heck did you get the procreate file into CapCut? I can’t figure it out

okkaaay i don't care if this is 5 months late but are you gonna get procreate dreams when it comes out? it's gonna have sooo many new capabilities such as the ability to make your animations as loooooong as you want and not have to make a new project every single time, i'm sure that you would definitely like that honestly

I use Procreate to animate, except I completely disregard the animation feature lol 😃

Btw, there's an animation program called Rough Animator. It is $6 USD, but it's much easier than this process I swear 😭

This already made me laugh within the first minute, but yea procreate is kind of a pain when it comes to animation with audio but if its done right, its really cool!

Procreate definitely needs to step up with it’s animation tool

when doing the animation on procreate, you can use folders to use multiple layers for one frame! if you don’t know how to make a folder, just tap the layer and then use the combine down option to make a folder! you can put more layers into the folder and when the animation feature is on only the folder will be counted as a frame!

I can actually understand the pain you went though making this 😭I am currently trying to learn to animate on procreate to, I also use capcut and also a video editor called kinemaster. Usually what I do is tween, but I actually do want to learn to animate more, I wish procreate would sometimes allow you to import music into your animation projects to it's easier to get around the timing issue, but your animation actually looks really great! You did a good job!

Being an animator is hard, but being an animator using procreate is another level of insanity

Here’s a tip I use in procreate: use layer groups or whatever there called. Then you can have a different background and multiple layers for each frame

I just stumbled upon this video looking for something to help guide me with animating on procreate bc I’ve always used FlipaClip. It was rlly helpful compared to the others and very entertaining xD I admire your determination, and as painful as it looked and sounded to get this project done, I think I’m still gonna try using procreate since it’s new to me.. it’s a learning experience and I’m insane lolol,, Anyways, great animation! You’re criminally underrated!! Sun and moon are my favorites and I think you did them justice bc WOW, amazing work again!! Thanks for all the help ^^

I use clipping all the time and didn’t think of that! My animation was colored in groups with a bunch of layers making it hard to make more layers😮‍💨

actually you can have different backgrounds, all you need is to hold down on a layer, click another one and make them into a group, procreate sees the group as a single frame instead of two!!! I hope this helps!!!!
