I bought Elden Ring based on a friend's recommendation. i legit uninstalled the game 3 times and on the fourth time attempting to get into this game, I totally did. 300 hours later and i got all the achievements. This is one of my favorite games of all time now. Its crazy how much I hated it at the beginning though lol

I think alk the Souls games sre actually in the same universe. Patches being in them all, in just slightly diffrent looking.

I'm pretty sure Martin wrote some if not ALL the backstories for the bosses and areas. In an interview he mentions this and how his stories took place 5,000 years before we show up. So the lands between has been a lawless wasteland for a good chunk of time

Can’t tell if falcon is dyslexic or he just never actually played this game. The amount of names and words he mispronounces and flat out gets wrong is surprising for someone that actually played the game.

None of these are easter eggs. It's common knowledge that Miyazaki reuses and refines ideas from previous games in his newest game, every time. If refining ideas and experimenting with them in different contexts wasnt such a core element of From's game design, then sure, they would be easter eggs.

You can also see trees expanding into infinity during the fight against the Elden Beast, another parallel to the Ash Lake.

The whirlygig saw is far superior to the gizzard wheel. I was disappointed when I found this. I thought it was going to be brilliant.

In Demon’s souls the moonlight great sword was more a faith type weapon ( fun fact)
