Also, it’s hard for me to care at all… I spent 92 months in federal prison for 31 grams of heroin (that was for personal use, not for sale.) It is a real kick in the dick to hear all these stories of Hollywood actors fucking stabbing people, beating their wives/girlfriends, committing the same crime a dozen times and getting probation while regular people with addiction issues don’t get slaps on the wrist, they get real prison time. I’ve been clean for almost 6 years after using heroin for 22, but still believe that if people want to do drugs, that should be their choice. I never robbed anyone, hit a woman or committed an act of violence that wasn’t provoked. I have worked my entire life and never got handed anything. I understand that people get emotionally attached to celebrities, but they get the benefit of the doubt in every situation and get cut breaks regular people could never even dream of.

Refusing a sobriety test isn’t against the law. While you may have to forfeit your license for a predetermined length of time, you can’t be charged with “refusing a test”. You should never open your mouth, agree to anything or in any way assist law enforcement when contacted by officers. It’s your right to shut the fuck up and the cop’s job to investigate. You are under no obligation to help them fuck you.
