Gonna have to redo this whole freaking video when the Beacn Create is finally launched. That thing looks dope. Which device is your favorite?
ОтветитьHey I've been watching all your videos but I'm soooo lost 😅
What would you recommend for a streamer/audio noob? My priorities are 1) something that works with a USB mic hyperx quadcast S 2) easy software for rerouting 3) something that works with voicemod/soundboards. 4)something pretty that doesn't look over complicated i.e colour customisable. I currently have a streamdeck xl too.
Please help I'm drowning in videos and so confused 🙏🏼
I have the Scarlett solo but I think I might’ve just been really unlucky cause it’s just bad asf. It cuts the incoming and outcoming noise for at least 30 seconds every like 20-40mins and it’s really annoying. The gain and everything is good but mine might just be broken or sum idk. Plus when I’m a call with someone my mic just acts up bcs of the interface and makes weird really loud sounds and you can’t even hear my voice anymore. I don’t know but im gonna buy something else for sure next time
ОтветитьFocusrite sounds not so good. It enforces the top region, and it becomes sounding harsh
ОтветитьWhen I am playing a game my solo struggles and you can hear a static noise anyone know how to fix?
ОтветитьYou should do a review on the Focusrite 4th Gen 2i2. It has 96 db of gain. Sells for $199.
ОтветитьHave had the evo 4 from audient for a while now. Its been perfect for gaming
Ответитьcan you review the FIFINE Ampligame SC3
ОтветитьJust picked up the wave xlr. I was using a zoom podtrak p4. I love the wave link software. Now time for the stream deck +
ОтветитьAbout two years later, I'd say by now the Wave XLR is elevated to legendary status just from the additions they've made and the additional tools that they've developed.
Wave XLR now has built-in VST's that you can add to the Wave Link software on a per-input basis, which means that literally every source of audio can have its own VSTs running. On top of this, they've also released the Stream Deck + which has programmable knobs that you can not only use to adjust the volume of Wave Link, but also use it with a ton of other tools.
The increase in overall price to have that functionality would probably be the only detractor, though--$159 for the Wave XLR and $199 for the Stream Deck +. It's worth it if you use it, though.
It uses Sega video cord tip plugins :D jk
ОтветитьFrom my advice I'd stay away from the GOXLR Mini. I've read online and experienced it myself, the Mini has no interference plate on the bottom. This means any electrical interference near the device will b picked up by the microphone - I've never been able to remove my hiss from my mic due to this, and it only seems to be getting worse.
ОтветитьFrom what I can tell in here, GOXLR seems to be the best option for streamers with Nexus and Wave XLR right behind but still further behind GOXLR. The only concern with GOXLR is the updates itself, but all in all seems like a best option. I personally also prefer normal one over mini as it gives me more and quick options. I am a sucker for voice effects xD
Ответитьcan i connect my usb mic to it? lolololololololol
ОтветитьI'm not a streamer but am helping a friend set up their stream and have a few questions.
I'm wondering why the SM7b is so popular as a streaming mic.
What qualities am I looking for in a mic for streaming?
Is something like a Scarlet 2i2 and Voice Meter Banana a viable option or would an Elgato Wave Link be a better choice?
Thank you to Senpai for this video it has opened my eyes on the issues streamers have with audio routing.
Ok so I have a focusrite scarlett 2i2 and just recently put together a second PC for streaming. The scarlett is connected to my main PC as I’m a music producer. I have my elgato hd60s connected between the two PCs but I can’t get my scarlett audio to also go OBS on my stream PC. Any help?
ОтветитьWas thinking of getting go xlr but I wasn’t aware of the submix issue. Thanks
ОтветитьI'm thinking about upgrading my audio interface for recording do you think I should go with the goxlr mini. I am using the USB audio box 96
ОтветитьI would love to see a redo of this whole thing since Elgato dropped VST Support.
Ответитьyears of seeing goxlr content from you and now that i got one, you finally release a video saying its not all that.... 😪
ОтветитьThe Wave XLR does support plugins, at least now it does. Not sure what update introduced them. I currently have a noise gate and a couple other plugins working perfectly through the interface
ОтветитьAre there any mixers which allow you to use prefered headsets and controls the system volume instead of it's own mixer main volume?
I wish there was a mixer that used 4 virtual audio devices which you could bind own physical devices to it, i.e set your own Microphone and Headset to those channels such as own XLR/USB Microphone and your own Headphones. I know a lot of audiophiles hate gaming headphones, but gaming headsets do a far better job at having clearer directional sound in competitive games, such as footsteps or gunshot direction. I don't need crystal clear stereo professional audiophile headsets for gaming.. :S
So in your opinion best dual pc audio mixer is which? My Goxlr went out and I’m in need of a new mixer. Been watching your vids to get an idea on what to get.
ОтветитьThe Scarlett works perfectly fine for voice overs and single instruments. Definitely recommend it just for that.
ОтветитьHello! Please help me choose what is better to buy : TC Helicon Go XLR full, Rode caster pro, Razer audio mixer, Elgato, Avermedia or any card with DSP? I listed them because they cost almost same in my country. Also using AKG P220. I would like to hear your opinion too! Or maybe you know some other cards names with relevant cost?
Thanks for your time!
P.s. you experienced my not-so-good English writing!)
Edit : single (alone?) streamer / rarely using discord / not planning to play instruments.
Thanks
ОтветитьDamn I had no idea the GoXLR team all jumped ship. But that does explain why it’s only, albeit very helpful, but not 100% knowledgeable volunteers providing any tech support on the device. Huh.
ОтветитьAre there any audio interfaces that work with wireless headphones
ОтветитьM-Game came out with one that is awesome too ... id like to see a review on that one !
ОтветитьI dislike the background music
Ответитьwait, you gave the wave xlr a higher score for functionality when it does less?
ОтветитьHeLP: can I hook up external speakers to a fader on a goxlr mini ??
ОтветитьIs there a combination of a xlr mixer and stream "companion/deck"?
If not, why has noone done it till now. I mean that would be a massive lifesaver and just 2000iq. That would sell like warm "weggli"
I really miss that reviewers would talk about the goxlr mini's phantom power which is only at 24v.
Yes, there are a few condenser microphones that can take 24v, but that really limits the possibilities.
And how is it e.g. with cloudlifter for a dynamic on goxlr mini? I thought all cloudlifters were set for 48v? What is the purpose of only 24v phantom power?
I really want the goxlr mini, but this is holding me back and I can't choose.
i'd love to see an updated version of these or a "setup suggestion per budget bracket" including the Beacn Stuff, and mic suggestions.
would be nice for people who are thinking on upgrading their stuff, especially if upgradability was a factor
I have the focusrite 3 solo which i've used for a while, but this video convinced me to get the GoXLR Mini. Just more options, not too big, and a bit more gain. Gonna wait until black week and probably pick this up! Subbed and thank you :)
ОтветитьBeen looking at the Wave and GOXLR for a bit now. Probably gonna go with the wave. the software looks solid and the hardware looks simple enough.
ОтветитьBeen running the GoXLR mini for 2yrs and it's... Bad. The wire it came with would cause the software to constantly crash, the software itself hardly worked and the interface itself was... Just something to plug into
ОтветитьDoes the wave xlr still have bugs? I check Reddit and people have issues with it?
ОтветитьI have been watching so many video about mixer and this video made me make my decision. Im going with XLR mini. I stream console and i think thats the best choice.
ОтветитьI love the video idea was a great concept, but I just do not like that mic for some reason is sounds "unsmooth" unlike some other mics that are similar in price.
ОтветитьMy girlfriend called you Draco Malfoy :DDDDD
ОтветитьI just got my shure mic so I plan on buying the Elgato xlr. I have 2 stream decks and Elgato foot pedal. Very functional and each button depending on scene or what it may be that impacts audio automatically fades to the corrected inputs and outputs. I need to continue to use all 9 channels for the way i have my stream set up with the use of extra auxiliary’s. I don’t plan on doing a duel pc setup anytime soon being how beefy my current rig is so this is perfect choice for my streaming experience.
ОтветитьI'm helping a new CamGirl get setup on a tight budget. At the same time I know that Sound is extremely important. I'm looking at putting a mic on a boom over her "stage". All the mic review videos I have seen apply to stationary Talent or hand held interviews. Obviously a Lav Mic is not an option. What mics would you recommend in the situation where the speaker has a tendency to move around horizontally and vertically with the boom stationary?
ОтветитьYou went in to it a bit and some interfaces have really good headphone amps and 48v amps to power the harder microphones like SM7B.
When people cheap out they can miss alot when going with a cheaper interface, cheap headphones and go for a expensive microphone, in my world it's better to start with a good foundation and get the better microphone later because you can get to 85% of what the Shure SM7B give you for alot less with some tweaking.
Playing my tablet only.
ОтветитьJust havent plugged it in yet.
ОтветитьStill have my xp laptop..
ОтветитьGreat review! Noticed this is a year old and am wondering if the Nexus software has improved at all?
ОтветитьBit late to the party but seeing I'm currently in the market and your video didn't answer my question and you asked :P You only covered the mic input side of audio interfaces, whilst yeah thats important, its also important to me to manage my balanced outputs, having maybe spdif output, inbuilt headphone amp/dac, output swapping if I want to maybe use IEM's instead. I'm probably trying to have my cake and eat it too... what can I say, I like cake and I want all the stuff with shiny knobs ;). Ty again for keeping up the amazing vids.
