ОтветитьNice body with a bad engine" need to invest in new engine the car is worth every dime...
ОтветитьNeed engine work!
ОтветитьThanks so much for videoing this cool car..and especially to actually see it running! :) Jack
ОтветитьIts the shit gas we have today
ОтветитьThe first concept car of the history
Ответитьvery nice your just missing a brimmed hat zoot suit and tommy gun.
Ответитьyea it looks like a mix between this and the original stingrays (C2 Corvettes)
Ответитьat :19 its so amazing because you see the buick of then, and then the buick of today just drives right past.
ОтветитьThis is the first modern custom, but it's a shame you have to trailer it. If I had my mitts on this, I'd drive it every day (Harley Earl did). I'd drive it across America. I think this car is right to cruise the Orchard Road, Singapore.
Ответитьi love cars alot.i restore cars for a living.i own and operate a hot rod and muscle car restoration shop.but something about this just doesnt do it for me.im in awe of harley j.earls work alot of times.but this just doesnt do it for me.wish i could see what harley was seeing with this.maybe if it had a top.....milner's speed and custom shop in york s.c.
ОтветитьDamn! It's been my most favorite car since first reading about it in magazines in Jr. school in the mid 1980's. I still love the design! my current car sucks! I'd give up my 8 airbags, navigation system, HD music system, and all the new crap for the Y!
Ответить:20 in, another Buick moves into the foreground. Decades later, and still goin strong! Fuck yeah!
ОтветитьIs the car very small or is the driver the owner of supersize me drive in ?
ОтветитьCould have sworn there was a goose sitting on his lap for the first 10 seconds...
ОтветитьThis is the most beautiful, stunning and stylish car I've ever clapped my eyes on! the ultimate in style and design, it would have stolen the show at the New York Worlds Fair in 1939, to me that would be its natural habitat among all the fabulous architecture at the Worlds Fair. Thanks for posting it's a feast for the eyes to behold. UK Fan.
ОтветитьThis Buick is very impressive and beautiful!!
Ответить@sneyder69 Well, it is considered as such, being that it was the first car made expressly as a platform to present future car design to the public, earlier advanced design models were for in-house use only
ОтветитьIt's a shame they did not go a head with a run of these.
ОтветитьYep, it's a one off concept, also known as the first concept car ever built
ОтветитьThats one of Harley Earls personal design concepts that was done as a styling exercise.
Ответитьholy fuck thats a beautiful car!
ОтветитьThe is only one built?
ОтветитьThe Y job is the most beautiful American car ever built !
ОтветитьI just learneed these existed today. My new favorite. thanks for the video.
Ответитьmy car thank you for waching my frind car
ОтветитьThat Y-Job is an amazing piece of machinery. To look at it, you wouldn't think it was made in 1937/38. Back then, the car looked 10-15 years ahead of its time.
ОтветитьHell no, it has never been restored. It's one hunderd percent original. I'll tell ya this, and that's a fact: Everything is orginal and the enigine has NEVER been revised. Never! The only thing that needs replacement is a busted O-rubber for the 'eye lids'
ОтветитьThe first concept car ever. And of course it runs, it was Harley Earl's car for trips all over the world to showcase what Buick could do with cars.
ОтветитьLove the car - and a great car carrier -
