ОтветитьI used to play argo somewhat because I couldn't run/get arma 3 at the time. While I am sad that Argo is gone from steam I have/can play arma 3 now and with praire fire I have been having too much fun with. Great mods list as well!
ОтветитьNever thought I'd see Diego Garcia in Arma. I feel like the only people who even know the island exists are the people who got stationed there and their families.

ОтветитьGripen mod for ArmA, SIGN ME THE FUCC UP
ОтветитьЭта игра мертва. В ней остались только ублюдки рпешеры из-за которых она и умерла.
ОтветитьYou know who'd really like the beauty of Diego Garcia?
The Chagossians.
EDIT: Im going to add some context here, so when you see Viper's reply below, you can form your own opinion.
Diego Garcia is an island in the Chagos archipelago in the Indian ocean. A stopover for sailors for centuries, it was eventually more permanently settled, traded hands several times, used as a leper colony and plantation economy... real Age Of Sail small island shit.
Skip to the 1960s, when the US was interested in projecting power around the world. In a deal with the UK, plans were laid to turn the island of Diego Garcia into a dedicated airbase, replete with a massive naval base, the Best Kept Secret Of The Navy. The only issue was the people, yknow, living there.
The UK government undertook a program in '68 to '73 to remove the Chagossians from the islands, using such colorful language as 'tarzans and Man Fridays' to describe the indigenous people they could not afford to have around.
To this end, they purchased all of the plantations and shuttered them, cutting off the major economic driver of the island, and began underreporting the islands population to limit UN interest, calling them '350 temporary belongers' rather than the 1700 native inhabitants they actually counted. Any Chagossian that left the island found that they were not allowed to return, told their work contract expired - leaving them homeless and unemployed in wherever they wound up.
As the dreadline drew near for the base to begin construction, they rounded up every pet dog on the island and exterminated them via exhaust fumes, cremating the bodies in furnaces of the remaining occupied businesses in front of their previous owners, as a 'sanitation effort'.
At *most*, the displaced Chagossians received compensation equal to whatever work contract they had, and some qwre set to get a cash settlement from the british government, who sent the money to the Mauritian island government - who promptly held onto it for four years before distributing it, as they were not exactly fans of a thousand disposessed people being suddenly dropped on their shores.
Diplomatic and legal attempts to regain their homes have been stymied and shortchanged, and an effort has been made to declare the island a natural reserve in order to permanently bar their return (but not, yknow, the air/navy base). Its gotten a US Petition with enough votes to warrant a response, and the International Court of Justice at the Hague had ruled in 2019 that the UK 'infringed on the right of self-determination of the Chagos Islanders' and was ordered to cede control of the islands.
The response to which, to this day, has been... well, Viper put it best, below.
Cool mods! And that is not a SU-17 it´s an SU-22
Ответитьwhat's the big plane in the first map the mod for the plane and the second mod
ОтветитьArma series is fckng the best
ОтветитьYou should try Crows Zeus mod and crows Electronic warfare mod
ОтветитьYay, u finally have more likes!
Ответитьeveryone writes about that mods are really cool, but I will write that the music at the beginning is from my childhood. R.I.P Tanki Online
ОтветитьI wish RHS expanded on their mod adding more
ОтветитьSo I assume you listed the info of the T-64 instead of the T-62.
Ill be the smartass here for a bit XD. T-62 was armed with a 115mm main gun and was the first tank to adopt the smoothbore cannon and use APFSDS rounds , correct me if I am wrong.
The T-64 was the first MBT in how we see them today. It was armed with the 125mm gun. And was the reasson , like you said the T-72 was born , as it was cheaper and more reliable than the T-64A.
T=64B fixed alot of the issues of the A version , but at that point other factories had already started to roll out the T-72s and T-80s. T-80 actually turned out even more expensive , even tho it was meant to be cheaper.
I'm locked in words as to how this video has made me feel tonight. I like Arma 3 and like anything in flight. Thanks for the time it took to make another good video!
ОтветитьThe cannon on the T62 is actually a 115mm cannon not the usual 125mm
ОтветитьI'm a little late to this one but I'm glad I watched it. I haven't heard of any of these mods until now but they are awesome. I especially like the Couds Corps. The Diego Garcia map looks amazing and the Arctic is very unique and looks very well done as well
ОтветитьWhat would like to see now is a follow up video detailing the full PC requirements in order to play these mods as seamlessly as can be done as so few vids explain the 'best' set-up with GPU specs etc.
It would go someway to encourage more players into the ARMA world and help promote the game, it's future development and any sideshots such as hoping this progression follows into the likes of [ DayZ ] etc.
Great vid and thanks for any info you provides, 😎🤘
Another obscure mod, if you haven't covered it yet, is AAPM (Advanced Armor Plate Mod) by the wonderful El Berl. Although it hasn't been updated in a year or two, it's still extremely good imo.
ОтветитьA mod I use for single player attack heli gameplay is All In One Command Menu. I use the feature that lets you sorta fly while being in the gunner seat without losing weapon control
ОтветитьThat cloud corps pattern is disgustingly aesthetic. Kinda want a field jacket in that style now lmao
ОтветитьI hope Steven makes a reduced haze mod for the PRACS map, so I can blaze around in a mirage downing SLA MiG-23s
Ответитьclv has really nice armored
Ответитьwhen arma4
ОтветитьAnyone knows the BC weapons pack mod because I have it??
ОтветитьShoutout for my arma unit mate Jeff's hellfire9x mod that works as intended for those of you all that need surgical precision without a mess 😉. He's also cooking up some spicy well camouflaged ieds instead of the obvious piles of trash etc
Ответитьactually it's the T-64 which is the reason why we have the T-72. The T-72 is based on the T-64 but simplified a lot more to be easier to produce
ОтветитьViper, sorry to bother you brother but I wanted to ask you about UnitCapture. I've noticed that it UnitPlayFiring does not work with SOG Vietnam DLC, strange uh?
While it works with every other DLC/Mod it just does not record AI Firing while on replay.
Have you never had problems like this with UnitCapture? :/
Please include the Indian Armed Forces mod next time in your video....humble request...
ОтветитьDo you review Missions/Campaigns as well?
ОтветитьShow new compositions or custom asset's, it would be better for your channel growth, no one cares about maps unless they are mod assets for existing mods, also I'm not downloading mods for a single vehicle plane or heli. That artic terrain has some of the worse pathing I've ever came across, it is a awesome map but the AI cannot handle it and it's also not supported anymore I believe.
Ответитьyour videos show that arma is your passion. Great shots, every time I see your videos I want to play arma again, great content as always, thanks for that! comment for algorithm
ОтветитьI NEED an M50 Ontos mod, im surprised Unsung didn’t have it tbh. It was a tank destroyer with 6 external recoilless rifles that the Marine corps used heavily in Vietnam. There’s nothing in any mod that’s even close to this thing
ОтветитьI'm sure like many of us, you wait for the day when you upload a video with the old USAF mods. I dream of the day I see a functional b2 back in the game :')
Ответить
