Lets face it. This not a tv show anyone should have any type of relationship except being at least friends at the most. Anything else is merely fiction. Carl and Lindsey were on pages of nothing but being toxic to each other. Possibly just acting and in real life friends since she helped him with a place to live plus his sobriety because the year before she did not drink and took walks with him every morning then this season that all stopped and it was probably due to his not keeping up his part of the bargain.
Of course the other couple wasn't making it before marriage and now after marriage its far more toxic.

How come nobody is addressing how Gabby is the new Danielle????

Does everything have to be about Lundsey. Carl did the both of them a favor. I feel bad that Lindsey can't see her own issues.

As a general rule, men get most of their life satisfaction from their accomplishments, and women get theirs from relationships. When Lindsey comes at Carl's career ambitions too hard, she threatens his very core of self-esteem. It's a visceral reaction for him to feel unsafe. I hate to say it but Lindsay shares many traits in common with Bethenny Frankel. Too toxic and Alpha to maintain a relationship much less a marriage.

You can tell she’s drunk in this recording. I don’t think she’ll find a man who commmunicates better than Carl. He’s living in reality and knows how to present his thoughts with a bow on top. Lindsey has real issues and ppl who are humoring her are not helping her. If ppl cared about her they would say you are the problem and you’re disconnected from reality.

Cameras don't lie. The perception of the other...it was evident they weren't meant to be. When they came in before last summer dating, I wasn't happy because they weren't compatible. I think he wanted to start a family and proposed and then realized it wasn't a good idea, and she didn't help. They both dodged bullets; despite all the money lost, better than a divorce.

I like Carl more than Lindsey(but would never date a man child again)there is something seriously wrong with his teeth, he should sue his dentist.

Well I fully understand that Lindsey is not for everyone and can be 1000% a nightmare when shes hammered. That being said even just watching these recaps and how Carl describes them after the fact - he's clearly doing some rewriting or revision of history here. I personally think that Carl got in his head and then went to his mom for confirmation of what he had already been thinking which is that he wanted to call the wedding off. The minute his mom validated his feelings he made the decision to end the relationship. Theres nothing wrong with changing tour mind by the way. The problem is that its very evident to me that he had infact been planting seeds and intentionally starting arguments in attempt to get Lyndsey "activated" so that he would come out looking like the bad guy.

Carl seems like he would be hyper critical and exhausting to be around. He seems to pick fights and then play victim. There's a coldness and emotional unavailability about him. Lindsay dodged a bullet.

It's me or Kyle doesn't belive ANYTHING that Carl says, he just looked him like "what the hell Bro?" We know that Lindsay have a dream with the magical wedding and the family and everything, but Carl was affraid when he saw how the date was so close, and yes, I belive that he have something hidden

Not that I know what is happening behind closed doors, but Carl doesn't seem like that bad of a guy. I could never marry Lindsay--not just cuz I'm straight--but cuz she is super abrasive. Don't you wanna make your man feel good about himself? If he spoke to her the way she does to him, I don't think she'd be very happy.

Lindsay has never been my favorite. But I think Carl gaslit her many times and wanted her to be someone she was not. Her calling him out for being 'not sober' was definitely not okay at all. These two had no understanding of eachother as a romantic partner and they are BOTH better off. Sucks they lost the friendship.
