Im 40 seconds in and I love you already. Working on the mindset thing as I prepare for this journey. Homeless/houseless is such a negative way to view it but by societal standards that’s exactly what’s happening. Thank you for sharing your experience
ОтветитьYou have a CX5? Me too!! I’m so glad I found you!
Ответитьim thinking about doing it to save money. my dad has a drug problem and does it. obviously different circumstances… i have a job and plan on keeping one. id also sleep during the day which is much easier to stealth.
ОтветитьI am in my early 70s. I have a Hyundai hatch back. I am a very positive person and looking forward to hitting the road in a couple of months. I have been able to get an inflatable mattress in it. My car will be my bedroom. I will be staying overnight in caravan parks for security.
ОтветитьYoung man, this is a great video! My non profit helps the poor, working homeless and homeless. I work with several homeless families that live in a car. I give them heated blankets, etc. I even found a couple with a 3 year old a car and put them in a motel for a month. They are still struggling, but working and doing much better. If you have access to a shower, keep a job. This video is great if you have a little money, but when you don't, it's much harder. Great video though. Love it! Give people hope, bro! Wishing you the very best. You look like a young professional that makes $100K per year. LOL
ОтветитьExactly what i am doing. Doing what i have too do. Planet fitness is a great thing.
ОтветитьAlso if you want to shower you can use a truck stop gas station like Loves to buy a shower.
ОтветитьThanks brother
Ответитьhouseless , not homeless i hope.
ОтветитьI agree, an RV will not work in a city, but a box truck could work in a city. It will look like any other delivery vehicle. It will be harder to find a parking space though.
ОтветитьCurrently saving to do this. I’ve still got a year till I feel I have enough. I can’t wait. I’m no longer playing the rent game. I want ALL of my money! Glad you’re putting this advice out. I’ll take it! 💪🏼
ОтветитьIm so glad you are in the same boat as me. Im dojng the same until February (not by choice) but i been watching your videos since 2020! Its nice to see someone whose actually like me who is doing this.
ОтветитьSame. Just same.
ОтветитьI lived out of a backpack for three years. Not even a car for shelter. I will say that when you have acclimated to absolute rock bottom and and thrive with what you can carry on your back, You truly do feel invincible. Nothing can get to you. You can't be worried about living paycheck to paycheck. You can't be worried about car payments or gas. You can't be worried about suddenly losing everything. Everything that you earn, you keep. There are no other barriers or distractions in the way of you and your goals. It's just you maximizing your money, while minimizing your dependence on it.
ОтветитьDon't forget the WI-FI at Planet Fitness!
ОтветитьWho would want to live in a car? It's gross
ОтветитьSo glad I found your channel! I have a Mazda Cx-5 too!
ОтветитьIf I was single without children, I would perhaps try this. You sound very smart. And you have a great smile with lovely teeth!
ОтветитьHey guys i recently lost my job and am currently struggling about to lose my apt. I'm going to have to live in my car for a few months and taking this opportunity to move out of my current little town into a bigger city for more/better job opportunities all im concerned about is the heat, how do you sleep when its hot outside? I can deal with the cold with a -0 sleeping bag but the heat i ordered a USB fan and a portable power bank from amazon but not sure if thats going to be enough im moving to Oregon and I have a little hatchback car thank you!
ОтветитьPlanet fitness my savior for urban car camping
ОтветитьI was forced into it. But I flipped it around and now I can't see myself going back to paint run again. I turn my 2003 Toyota Corolla into a camper and it's kind of cool. Thanks again
ОтветитьI am a 55 yr old swf. Just started car life a few months ago...tx for sharing😊
ОтветитьDo you put window covers on the windshield and the driver and passenger doors?
ОтветитьThis video is packed full of nomadic life wisdom. Thanks.
ОтветитьWith the few items you did say as important, this was very logical. Especially the first point. The right mental space will guide everything you do
Ответитьdude I think is great getting out of the Matrix but not to live miserably but to restart in a better way. Said that, I gonna ask you to stop using names of the places where you can take all the advantages like parking and amenities. You should be more generic. Otherwise those places can change the policies and people will enjoy that no more.
ОтветитьMy shit 10 times worse especially on days I don’t work and I feel like I’m never going to get out of this car… It’s been two years. What do you mean don’t do this lifestyle Playa when I don’t got nowhere to go
ОтветитьI've been living in a Toyota Yaris 2009 2 Door Hatchback since 2009 Bought the Toyota & started living in it.... I'm 65 Years old now.. I Love it Bro...
ОтветитьYou never said where to buy the window covers or the small generator
ОтветитьI want to live in a car for a certain amount of months one day. You really inspired me to get off my comfort zone. I think this a really great thing to experience. I also always wanted to travel around the world on my own terms. Way to stay courage’s Jordan.
ОтветитьLol, I'm sure everyone living in their cars have a positive mentality 🤣. Most are not doing it by choice!
ОтветитьBut where do you take a shower & where to use toilet ?
ОтветитьiPostal is also an address service. We are moving soon and we don't know how long we'll stay at that residence, so we decided to get iPostal, that uses the physical address of the Staples or whatever brick & mortar that's providing that service.

ОтветитьWORK 2 hours then QUIT! LMFAO 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂
