I have mad respect for these people who do these jobs!🎉 I have two great reasons for this, number one is it would be so hard to look and dissect human bodies for a living it doesn’t seem healthy! As a 13 year old who studies health, I don’t think I would be able to handle that. And number two, how are we gonna have justice for murders if we don’t do autopsy’s and find out the cause of death, like who else is gonna do it! Thank you for your time.❤🫡

Very informative video. Please after embalming, how long can one delay the funeral for? I mean before the chemicals fade off.

this is kind of mashing two things together- the examination team will attempt to hide what they have done within the examination... But generally at that point the individual is handed off to a mortition who does funereal work. Mortitions work on both sides of the exam- but within the exam room they are not embalming or putting makeup on- that would be handed off to the funereal director.

I've seen several autopsies and the only thing that creeps me out is the sound of the bone saw. It's WORSE than fingernails on a chalk board.

It’s very scary to think about this but of course it’s a normal part of life. Respect to the people who do this.

Morticians do not perform autopsy… anatomical pathologists, who are doctors do… a mortician provides funeral services…

This is very educational, the only way to prevent this to happening to our bodies is cremation, but everyone does not want to go inside the human oven. But my father died of Stage 4 Cancer he got cremated, that was his wishes. His ashes got poured in the ocean when my older brother and mother vacationed in Jamaica, R.I.P pop.

As a native American I can tell you that we never do autopsies on our family or any of the dead as it's against our religion but I do appreciate the amount of mental health they sacrifice

Restorative Arts is a very hard thing to do, luckily many families will want a closed casket or coffin, which is a blessing for the embalmer. I became a Funeral Director because I didn't want to go to medical school. I knew I was going to work with the dead from the age of 12, being born deaf, but not completely, hearing aids help, and I read lips, I was able to work mainly in the embalming room which I liked. Looking at a picture and trying to make the deceased look like the picture is very challenging, which I liked.

To whoever has this job, I respect you, my future plans are to be an aircraft company CEO, and make aircraft, I’m really into planes and helicopters, I might see if I could re create the spaceship from my favourite show, and I bet you can see what it is

My uncle was beaten to death last year and we had a closed casket because they said his face was caved in. Brain didn’t return until after the funeral and they cremated it separately and just added it to the urn.
