Unfortunately, "I don't care about cookies" has been bought by Avast, the company with that infamous adware/spyware-filled antivirus.
Fortunately, a fork of this addon called "I still don't care about cookies" exists without any connection with the mentioned company.

I know this is 9 months old, but was away for a bit, but I can't live without Ghostery and Chrono Download Manager (has a good sniffer option too for bulk downloading). Recently added a couple of bulk downloading ones for Instagram and Facebook (Download Albums and Download Videos). I use Brave browser and PIA VPN too. Bitwarden (browser extension) is my go to password keeper. $10/year and get encrypted backup space as well. Recently also invested in Yubikey Security Keys (2 of them so 1 is a backup). You would be surprised how many "reputable" financial sites don't even have basic 2FA setup. Western Union has nothing for 2FA as an option. Great not having to worry about lost/forgotten passwords either if they site allows logging in with the security key.

A lot of the recent reviews for I don't care about cookies are saying that they were recently bought out by Avast and that Avast is known to sell your data. Is this extension still something you would recommend?

For the " I Don't Care About Cookies" I heard that they sold it to some company that had a reputation of spying their users or using spyware.

I was looking for a way to quickly disable extensions in firefox. THANK YOU

I don't care about cookies don't reject all cookies. Depending on the website they accept all. I have privacy badger on top to block all cookies

I found a extension that replaces Unpaywall, but is actually better and works on more articles!
