There's a few different versions of this. This is the one I grew up watching with the pumpkin narrator. What an awesome time to be a kid during Halloween.

Night on Bald mountain was one of the greatest artistic achievements Disney has ever and will ever have achieved. It was gutsy it was fearful and it was abstract. Disney went there and it is immortal

Disney doesn’t release most of their classics like this - you have to find someone with a recorded copy. Good luck- this is a gem.

Much as I loved this when I was a kid, I never watched it on Halloween. Ah, nostalgia...

Thank you for posting this, brings back memories . Who the hell cares if Mickey goes to bed with a loaded shotgun by his bed side, albeit it's a just a cartoon mouse, BUT, it shows the artist wanted to show Mickey is smart enough to protect himself should an unwanted visitor or home invader comes.

I really miss The Wonderful World of Disney, the shows used to air on Sundays. The show either was live action, ie behind the scenes in Disney Land or an animated movie.

Today I learned that Mickey Mouse sleeps with a (presumably loaded) shotgun in his bed. How did I not pick up on that when I watched this as a kid?
