I studied and did presentations about it. The swastika is basically represents the Sun, hence life-force, power and is the essence of the idea of "good fortune." Aside from the regions mentioned in the video, it's ingrained in the cultures of African Bantu people, Arabs, Chinese, Inuit, Arawak, Jews, Muslims, Inca, Iranians, Christians, Scandinavians, ... you get it. It's the symbol that connects all of humanity for far longer than even mentioned here.
That's why the N*zis used it, for their "good fortune" and because it is easily recognizable. Hell about time to educate the people and give it back to the world.
