I’m so tired of the narrative Richard and Bailey throw saying “ I raised you” “ you need to be loyal” “this hospital gave you everything” like yes I’m sure they are grateful for them as teachers but every single other student who moved in ended up thriving. I mean they don’t mention Cristina much but it seems like she’s thriving. And Arizona is off doing her work in New York, and countless more. Like Meredith gained a lot from grey Sloan but also lost a lot. Her husband, she had a miscarriage, her sister, her friends, and more. She deserves to leave and I hope she does

If they hadn’t killed off Derek, or got rid of everyone, we wouldn’t be here. They should’ve just gotten rid of shonda instead of mc dreamy.

This can be said for many workplaces. Many people are no longer just quitting their jobs, they're saying something about the pay, benefits (which is still tied to your employer), and working conditions, etc. People are fighting against their corporate overlords and captured government for better pay, a healthcare system that isn't for-profit and better working conditions.
The old way isn't working and has not been for the past 20 years. There are no longer any workplaces that value their staff, it's "you're replaceable" and are treated less than human. Many companies are only loyal to their shareholders and CEOs and that's it.

Addison didn't complete her residency at that hospital though so I don't get it unless she was just talking about her residency in general and not at Grey Sloan

I'm aware that GA is only a fictional TV series & has some inaccuracy with medical field in real life. But I think if the council decided to shut down the residency program, GSMH could still be functioning as a community or private hospital.

Besides, residency program is designed to train the residents to their breaking points because they deal with people's health & lives. No way I'm gonna trust my health & my life to a doctor who likes to complain. Residency is designed to be hard, because if it's easy, then everyone can do it. Hardships makes greatness.

Addison the highlight of the whole season for me

Addison and Meredith basically had to become surgeons at the top of their fields to be able to speak out, and even then only to people they consider friends. Crazy how much that can breed a bad culture.
